This recently renovated 1895 Rust-Owen Lumber Co. mill house is located in a quiet community at the heart of the Chequamegon National Forest. This location is just 2 blocks from Drummond Lake and near Lake Owen. You can spend your days fishing, kayaking, canoeing, or relaxing on the sandy beach.
Our cozy two-bedroom cottage has one bed with a new memory foam queen-size mattress and another with a new memory foam king-size mattress. There's also a pull-out sofa with an upgraded memory foam mattress. The fully furnished kitchen has a coffee pot, a Keurig, and coffee and microwave popcorn for you first evening and morning. The dining area can seat up to six people with available table leaves. You'll also find a 55-inch smart TV, a remote-controlled propane fireplace, and a small work area/desk in the living room. Each bedroom also comes with a tv and plenty of usb ports. Outside, you will find a deck, Weber Q-2000 grill and firepit with plenty of wood.
The property includes a canoe and kayak for use on Drummond Lake or nearby lakes along with paddles and life jackets.
We get frequent requests for trailer parking. Two trailers and two vehicles can park on the property. There is additional convenient trailer parking at the trailhead just down the street near the Drummond Lake Campgrounds.
