Updated in 2015, this one-bedroom one-bathroom suite with Pacific Ocean views is the perfect home away from home! You’ll love the Hawaiian décor, including wooden paddle ceiling fans, modern wicker furnishings, and vibrant paintings. The tiled kitchen has a modern backsplash and upgraded stainless steel appliances. Prepare meals and dine at you table for four, just off the kitchen. The cozy living area has a sleek entertainment center with a flat screen television and seating for four to six. Your furnished lanai comes with a dining bar so you can enjoy meals overlooking Waikīkī Beach. The carpeted bedroom has an enclosure for privacy, and is furnished with a King size bed and two side tables. You’ll also love the convenient amenities like WiFi, air conditioning, and a washer/dryer! Castle Waikīkī Shore is the only beachfront condominium in Waikīkī, offering views of the Pacific Ocean, iconic Diamond Head, and Fort DeRussy Park. You are in walking distance to Waikīkī 's famed beach activities, fantastic restaurants, nightlife, and cultural activities. Beautiful View!

First time in Hawaii and we couldn’t have picked a better location. The view was so beautiful! Easy access to beach and plenty of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Highly recommend

Will not be back!!

I have stayed at this condo twice in a span of 6 months. The first time it was great because I didn’t run into any troubles. The second time, on my 2nights there, the guests above made so much noises at 6:30am. I went on for 3 days until I had enough and reported to the guy sitting at the front desk. To my dismay, he dismissed the issue and said he will try to talk to the guests above us stating “if they’re making the noises” or I can call security next time. The next morning it happened again and went down to report to security, but guess what it was closed. I went around looking for staff to ask who should I speak to regarding this issue and was directed to speak to someone in the room next to the elevator. She told me I will let the the manager of that room know and they will speak to the owner and the owner will speak to the guests. (WHAT) I finally emailed the management directly and got email back saying …” we’re sorry, we understand how you feel” blah blah, no you don’t!!! Needless to say, nothing was done, until finally on 5 days I had enough and went up to the room myself and spoke to the woman. She said she wasn’t aware that she has been making all these noises and that no one has spoken to her about it. The next morning, the noise of moving of chairs/table stopped, the loud opening/closing of closet stopped, the running/stomping stopped. I understand there are inconsiderate guests and it’s not the hotel’s fault, but the lack of actions and responses from the people in the front desk, the staff, and the management is beyond unacceptable. I was told that this condo and the rooms are managed by 20 different owners. If your room is booked and managed by owners, more likely your needs or concerns will be met, but if it’s managed by Castle Waikiki Shore, please beware the lack of decent guest service or even crack a smile at you at the front desk.

Perfect unit and location

This condo is right on the beach with an entire wall of windows facing west toward the hilton. We saw a bunch of sea turtles in the water and it's pretty calm for swimming or paddling this time of year. It is the perfect size for two people. This is walking distance to everything in downtown Honolulu, shopping, bars, restaurants. The bed was comfortable and the area was quiet at night. It was clean and the front desk staff were helpful. We would definitely come back!

Waikiki Shore Thirteen Zero Six

From the moment we walked in the door, we knew we made the right decision to stay here. The unit is very well furnished, well taken care of, and looks just like the pictures online. We normally visit Waikiki once or twice a year but this was our first time staying at this property. The location is excellent, and convenient, for what we wish to do during our stay. We would not hesitate staying here again. The only minor problem we had was with the bathroom. Initially the shower would not drain and it took 3 times for them to look at it before it was fixed and a huge amount of hair was removed from the drain. The toilet seat is way past the point of needing to be replaced. It is an old seat that looked like it had been patched and repainted. A new toilet seat is not that much and I really don't think a new toilet seat is out of the question. The inside of the shower could use a thorough cleaning of the mold and then regrought. It would be a big improvement and look so much better. I don't know how often the owner checks on the unit, and really looks around, but these are normal regular maintenance things to be taken care of. Little things can make a difference. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would look forward to staying here again sometime in the future.

Great location!

Walkable to the center of Waikiki. Beach right outside of condo with a shaved Hawaiian ice shop and the "Steak Shack" right downstairs.

Beautiful view, but lacks amenities and comfort

First the positives; the view is just as pictured (absolutely stunning), the wall of sliders and large deck are wonderful features, the location is phenomenal (so close to the beach, stores, and restaurants), the shower has good pressure, a/c works great, the furniture is in good shape, and the appliances work well. That being said, this unit lacks amenities and comfort; several of the windows don't open properly or at all (including 2 of the 3 bathroom ones and the bathroom doesn't have a fan), the bed is very firm and doesn't have a good comforter (just thin fleece blankets), also the bed is 2 twins pushed together (so there is a seam down the middle), the dining room table is very short (making it uncomfortable/hard to eat from), the kitchen lacks some basics like pot holders and dishsoap (only dishwasher detergent provided). Being that there is no housekeeping due to Covid a vacuum in the unit would be nice. Of note, the a/c kicks out so much heat that it makes the big, beautiful deck very hot. One last thought is some beach equipment would be a nice feature; chairs, umbrella, cooler, etc., especially since on Waikiki beach it is $50 a day to rent two chairs and an umbrella.

Beautiful condo

Beautiful clean condo with amazing views of the ocean and diamond head. Direct beach access was awesome! Loved the sliders that completely opened up to the lanai. Fantastic location in the building and so close to many restaurants and shopping. Would highly recommend to others, we loved our stay and hope to book this unit in the future
