Inside, the fully equipped kitchen includes an oven, range, microwave, refrigerator, dishes, and utensils—everything you need to cook just like at home. The upstairs living area features a cozy fireplace, flat-screen TV with cable, and central heating to keep you warm after a day on the mountain. Free Wi-Fi is included throughout.

Downstairs, the master bedroom offers a king bed, flat-screen TV, private bath, and direct access to a private spa on the patio. The second bedroom includes a queen bed plus a double/twin bunk bed—perfect for families or groups.

Loved the proximity to the Snow Summit Ski Resort. We were able to come back for lunch and then hit the slopes in the afternoon with a lovely break. Highly recommend if you plan on visiting the Snow Summit Ski Resort!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here several days and loved the location, amenities and service. We picked this unit because of the hot tub, and although there was an initial issue, the hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating. They took care of the issue immediately, and we were able to enjoy everything the unit has to offer. The location to the slopes was of course excellent.

This is a 2 story apartment. They all all attached. Very loud. I dont like noise. Bed rooms are all down stairs. Living room and kitchen upstairs. Beds are OK. Nice hiking trail right at buildings. And ski resort is attached to these apartments. I dont and would never live in an apartment. So not use to that type of environment. Where you can hear people all around you. Late at night wee were enjoying ourselves relaxing upstairs when we heard the front door open..some got in to our apartment. It was very scary that they had the key to our place. I had a hard time relaxing after this happened. They really need an extra lock for the door that cant be opened with the main key.

We are truly sorry you did not have a wonderful experience. These are townhomes, not apartments for clarification. They are all two story and, yes, they are attached. However, noise that can be heard after 10:00 p.m by neighbors is prohibited. This was explained on the form you signed when you checked in. Had you contacted the night manager on site, they would have immediately come out and shut down any noise to help. I am sorry neighbors caused this problem for you. It is why we have the rules both from our HOA and from the City of Big Bear Lake. Regarding a late night walk in, the only explaination for this is that the door was unlocked. The only other people with a key was the night manager and when I contacted her regarding this issue, she confirmed she did not go out at all that weekend and had no night complaints. I know this is true as she is 82 years old and calls me personally for any night issues and did not call me. My guess is that the door was unlocked (it has both a door knob lock and a dead bolt) and someone mistook your unit for a neighbors one. Since you didn't state that you didn't see the person or that they moved around in your unit, they probably immediately noticed it was the wrong unit and left. I can assure you that the only keys to the door knob lock and dead bolt were with you with one extra in the office in case of emergency. Regarding an extra inside lock, the City of Big Bear Lake, by ordinance, prohibits those. I am sorry.

If I would have known that there were regular residents in this complex I would have never rented it out. Photos did make the place look better than in person. Not so bad but not for me.

Hello Lovely7420, I am sorry we did not live up to your expectations. I am not sure what you mean by "regular residents" as this complex of 85 individual townhouses on a 3 acre property only has 4 full time residences but perhaps there was some misunderstanding. Regarding the pictures, we do our best to make sure the pictures are accurate. We have many different townhouses here, all individually owned and all different on the inside. If the one was not to your likeing, we have many others to choose from. Again, I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay here at the base of Snow Summit.
