This spacious apartment sits in Kralendijk, within the Bonaire Beach Apartments complex, offering a pleasant garden view and about 100 m² of living space. The location is excellent: Van den Tweel supermarket at 1.1 kilometers, Chachacha Beach at 50 meters, restaurant Cuba Compagnie at 500 meters, and Dive Friends Chachacha at 50 meters. Situated on the ground floor, the complex also provides a communal outdoor pool (regular pool) for a refreshing dip after a day out.

Just a short boat ride away lies Klein Bonaire, an uninhabited coral island that, since 2001, has been part of the Bonaire National Marine Park and is a protected nature reserve. The shallow coral gardens are excellent for snorkeling and diving. There are no facilities, so bring water, sun protection, and a rash guard. Water taxis typically depart from Kralendijk’s waterfront. Please respect the reef by using reef-safe sunscreen only.

The Neighborhood:

Kralendijk—also called Playa—is Bonaire’s colorful center. The seafront boulevard, piers, and the lively Wilhelmina Square set the scene, with plenty of eateries, bars, and shops within easy reach. It’s a vibrant yet relaxed area, and you’re perfectly positioned for quick access to west coast beaches and shore dive sites. Ideal for travelers who love to soak up local island life on foot.



Getting Around:

Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Bonaire Beach Apartment 1. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.

Check-in to Bonaire Beach Apartment 1 is from 3:00 PM and check-out is until 10:00 AM. Early arrival or late departure may be possible on request, depending on other reservations.
