Great house for our needs. Had everything we needed. Bedroom layout was great. Not wheelchair accessible! Loved Cinnamon Shore North where this house was located. Not too far from beach and easily accessible. The only thing we found that needed attention was the top step in front of the house needs to be replaced/fixed. This house had plenty of outdoor porches to sit out on. Very enjoyable! We had a fantastic time at High Tide.

The multiple decks were beautiful, too. The only thing needed were a few more chairs around the large table. The challenge is really with the downstairs. You can hear every movement from upstairs when you are down stairs. Also, the beds on the 2 downstairs masters are very uncomfortable.

The only negative was the master bedroom fan didn’t work properly and we could’ve used more chairs at the dining table. We also had lots of trash in the trash bin and need more bins or more pickup days. We will definitely stay at this place again!

There were a few maintenance issues that needed to be addressed though- dining chairs falling apart (maintenance came and fixed during our stay), no water pressure at kitchen sink and many lightbulbs needing replacing. Also, I think it would be nice to have mattress pad in between the sheet and plastic mattress cover. It was very loud and hot with just a sheet over the plastic protector. The bed linens could also be upgraded a bit as they were scratchy and not soft.

Only issue we have had the last few times we've stayed is the beds are getting old and need replacing. It's a shame that for the price you pay, the owners don't buy new mattresses every couple of years. I hope they see this! As I was there I spoke with several other visitors who also complained of uncomfortable king beds. Time to switch them up Cinnamon Shores! Otherwise, we love it there. (the 1 star for propers general condition is for the beds)

Family Vacay

This was our 4th summer to enjoy Cinnamon Shore and the 2nd time to rent High Tide. The sleeping arrangements and upstairs living space works well for our family of 11. We enjoyed some of the many activities and easy access to the beach. We do most of our meals at the house and the kitchen is pretty well stocked, although it does seem that the cookware may need an upgrade. A larger stockpot and maybe some cookie sheets would be a good addition. All in all, a great family time was had by all and we will be back.

Beach is well groomed, pools are sparkling, on site food options are great and the staff at the desk are super helpful.The house worked well for our three families and six kids. We always struggle to find three king sized beds and six singles but this worked great. That being said, we have booked another CS home for next year due to some issues in the home. The beds, at least downstairs, are due for replacing. You roll to the middle throughout the night. The dishwasher next to the sink did not work. It ran but nothing ever came out clean, even after two washes. Also, the disposal was inoperable when we arrived. But the main reason we will not be returning is the roach problem. We found five of the little brown ones, the dirty ones not the water ones, in the home over our six day stay. The last one was crawling among the dishes in the kitchen drawer the last morning we were there. Because of that we found another home for next Spring Break. We did let the front office know when we checked out of the excessive roach issue and the maintence issues as well.

October stay at Cinnamon Shore

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third time staying at cinnamon shore and while we typically love it this was definitely not the best experience. When we arrived we noticed that the house was not very clean, there were dead roaches everywhere and that was in walkways where they should’ve been noticed and vacuumed up. There were two dishwashers one of which would not work nor close and apparently had been that way for quite some time. The other dishwasher had caked up dishwashing detergent in it that I had to clean out prior to putting a new pod in and washing dishes. The baseboards were filthy... just a very poor cleaning job. And what was more disappointing I did put a review on Google with no response... No phone calls... No apology... Ridiculous! It’s not like it’s an expensive in for the very least we should not have roaches we have to sleep with.

After reading other reviews, we were concerned however this place exceeded our expectations. We had one plumbing issue with a toilet downstairs and the maintenance staff addressed it right away. There is a home being built across the street but there was no noticeable construction noise. The only thing to be aware of is there is little insulation between the floors so the bedroom underneath the kitchen area can get load in morning but this wasn’t a concern with us since we are up early with our kiddos anyway. It was a great location and very comfortable bed. We would stay again!

If you want a luxurious experience, the High Tide 243 is not it!

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed six times in CS and always had a wonderful experience until the High Tide 243 HI. Although the staff at CS is always accommodating and very polite, this house is not up to CS standards and was certainly not worth the money we paid. If this had been our first stay at CS we would not have returned. Frankly, we were all surprised that CS would accept a house in this condition. Nice floor plan, good location. However, the furnishings and bed linens are lacking and the kitchen is poorly equipped. So many drawers but no rhyme or reason for what ever you might find in them-cutting board on top of a glass cake pan tottering on a measuring wine glasses, mostly plastic plates. Cheap silverware, no serving dishes, one set of place mats that were old and really for use outdoors. Two dishwashers, neither worked. (I have pictures...) Plastic chairs for the dining table. Two hair dryers but four bathrooms, only two towels per bathroom for a five night stay. One shower would not drain so we had to share a bathroom. The art looked like it was right of the rack at Bed Bath and Beyond. I would accept this if we were paying $400 a night but we weren't. This is Cinnamon Shore and they have always presented a standard. I was sorely disappointed and felt taken advantage off. I have loved cooking in all the kitchens at the homes we've rented. I enjoy having a lovely dinner to share with my family when we vacation but not on Corel plastic plates, serving out of stainless steel bowls on old rubber place mats. This house needs to be taken out of the rental market and updated.

A bit of a disappointment

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in cinnamon shore now for 5 years. We love it and look forward to going each year. We have stayed in several of the properties and are usually very happy with everything about our stay. This year we rented a new house due to planning our vacation later because of covid. We were very disappointed in this rental. The biggest complaint is the downstairs bathroom shower drain clogged up at the first use and left an awful sewage smell that quickly spread across the house. We immediately called management and left a message. That was the first of 3 messages left throughout the first day. We didn’t receive a single call back regarding this issue. We went to the office the next morning and management said this was the first he heard of our problem. He sent maintenance over there but they were unable to solve the problem. They called a plumber and could not fix the problem either. They said they would have to wait until the property was not rented to tear out some walls to fix properly but that they would get us some air fresheners to help with the smell. So that bathroom was out of commission for the whole trip and those adults sleeping in that room had to share a shower with the kids bunk room. Unacceptable for the price of rental. Another complaint is the locking of the ac thermostat downstairs at 70. Normally 70 is cool and great, not here. Two of the downstairs bedroom were hot and it was hard to sleep comfortably. We mentioned this to management and he said he would unlock it after feeling the temperature in the house and agreeing it was not cool. He did not unlock it until we complained again And by this time it was our last night there. Also, we noticed that when we would put it on 70 and leave for the day, someone had it set to go back up to 74 making matters worse. Also, the bedrooms don’t have blinds on all windows—bright and neighbors can see in to your bed and in your room. Lastly—found 3 live roaches. Disappointing to

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the experience was great, as usual; however, we would have enjoyed the home more if there had been window coverings on all the bedroom windows. Also, one of the bund beds' had dirty sheets and pillow case. And there were not enough towels for everyone so we used beach towels. I think there should be at least one bath towel for 12 guests.
