There is a trail camera in the driveway facing outward, used to capture wildlife.

Such a cute cabin. The kitchen is well equipped. Great use of space. The view is absolutely beautiful. The host, Angie, is very responsive! We hope to come back again.
The sunsets are amazing from the yard.
We woke up to snow!
Coffee and breakfast by the fireplace was perfect.

This cabin is just perfect! It’s super clean, well-stocked, fabulous view, and comfortable beds and furniture. The little things really DO matter - plenty of toilet paper (GOOD tp, not sandpaper), plush towels, soft sheets, hot tub towels, etc. we will definitely be back!

The cabin had the most amazing views and the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in outside of my own. We had a great time. The host made it very easy to check in and out.

We loved our stay at owl hollow! The cabin was perfect for our group. We loved the layout and the decor! Angie and Laylon are very devoted hosts that seem invested in the mentone community and really want to support it! The location is excellent-very close to the main drag but far enough so you don’t feel crowded. We were all very sad to have to leave, and will be back to stay again!

Mentone cabin

Perfect blend of rustic cabin with modern amenities. Beautiful view especially while relaxing in the hot tub! Community has wonderful dining experience. Short drive to desoto falls, little river canyon and Cloudland canyon in GA.

Country setting

Location was excellent and the view was gorgeous, just what we wanted. Cabin had everything we needed to cook with, nice linens, good products to use and the host was wonderful to work with.

Best View in Mentone

I wanted to have a getaway with my girlfriend in a quiet rustic cabin with a great view and Owl's Hollow really delivers. Clean and well maintained propertyand the hosts were very accomodating and helpful with any questions or issues

This was the perfect getaway! The host thought of everything that we would need in the cabin and outside. The lights strung on the front porch and down the stone pathway leading to the hot tub and fire pit were a welcoming touch. This all overlooked the brow with the magnificent sunsets that I dared not miss any night we were there. In addition to the fun hikes, a lot of lazy time was spent in the hammock or on the big porch swing or rocking chairs or playing a game from their cabinet. Good times!

Our family loves this property. If you have a family, this is a great choice. The open concept allows for easy gathering in the living areas and the view from the cabin can’t be beat. The front porch is where we sat for morning coffee and most meals..such a great view and the breeze…it definitely didn’t feel like July. The host is great and easy to work with, hot tub is hot and the view from the hot tub , kitchen is well equipped, Wi-Fi works great so if you need to work remotely that won’t be a problem. This is the place to be!!!…the place you will come back to again and again.

Best family getaway/wedding!

We came up to the mountain with our children and plans to get married at sunset! Owl’s Hollow was the perfect gathering spot with spectacular views! The home was super clean and well equipped with everything we could possibly need!Angie and Laylon made our stay even sweeter, as they’re probably the most accommodating and thoughtful hosts I’ve ever had the pleasure of renting from! It rained most of our wedding day, but in true Mentone fashion the skies magically cleared up just in time. We had a mix of fog and sunset that will forever be engrained in our memories! Thank you for everything, Angie and Laylon! Words cannot express how grateful we are!

It was wonderful, the views are spectacular! Love the hot tub and hammock! Very nice and cozy cabin! We loved it and wished we could have stayed longer! Our girls getaway was perfect!! Much needed! Beautiful view of the mountain and valley!! Sunsets were amazing!!! Lived our coffee in the hot tub!! Enjoyed the porch swing with the beautiful landscaping!! We watched movies and even used the fireplace one night to knock of the chill!! The decor of the cabin was AWESOME!!!
