The chalet comfortably sleeps six guests across three thoughtfully designed bedrooms. The primary bedroom is located on the first floor and features a plush king-size bed & space for a crib—perfect for parents traveling with little ones. Upstairs, you'll find a cozy queen bedroom and a fun twin room with two separate beds, great for kids or friends sharing a space.

There are two full bathrooms: one on the first floor (also home to the washer/dryer) and one on the second floor. Both are easily accessible and stocked with essentials. While not en-suite, the layout is ideal for families or groups looking for space and convenience.

Wildlife sightings are common, and it's not unusual to spot deer or elk wandering through the area. Nearby trails provide easy access to scenic walks and outdoor adventures, while the tranquil wooded surroundings make it just as tempting to stay put and relax.

To enhance your protection, this property is equipped with Ring cameras featuring video & audio capabilities situated at the exterior of the house. The cameras will be actively recording the following areas throughout the duration of your reservation:
- Front Door
- Backyard (but it does not encompass the hot tub to respect our guests privacy)
- Side of house facing Cannon Rd.
Please be assured that the cameras are configured to respect your privacy and do not have visibility into any interior spaces.

A car is essential. Our home is easily accessed via local highways & scenic routes. Closest major airports are 2-1/2 hours away, so driving is the best option for travelers.

$10 day per person for Pool & $40 day for unlimited golf (9-hole, par 3) - payable upon check-in at clubhouse (Holiday Fees are double for Pool)

For the comfort of our guests and to comply with HOA & local STR regulations, the maximum occupancy is 6 guests total, and all guests must stay inside the home. Camping of any kind on the property — including tents, trailers, RVs, or campers — is strictly prohibited.

If you are booking for Memorial Day weekend or Labor Day weekend, please be aware that the town of Packwood holds the Packwood Flea Market each year on these dates. This bi-annual Memorial Day weekend & Labor Day weekend event turns the town of Packwood into a huge flea market, one of the largest in the Western US. Hundreds of vendors sell antiques, novelties, clothing, and all kinds of household and decorative items. Tools, toys, and extraordinary finds abound. There are also lots of food trucks. Come join the fun!

Reservations are non-transferable. The individual who makes the reservation ("Booking Guest") must be at least the minimum required age, must remain an active member of the traveling party, and must be present at the property for the duration of the stay.

Reservations may not be made on behalf of another person, nor may a reservation be transferred, assigned, or resold to another individual or group after it has been confirmed.

If it is determined that the Booking Guest is not present during the stay, or that the reservation was made for someone outside of the booking party, Shawnee Chalet reserves the right to cancel the reservation without refund, deny check-in, or require the occupants to vacate the property immediately, at the host's discretion.
