This cabin is charming and is in a fantastic location in the woods and near Mt. Rainier. The owner was friendly and helpful. This cabin has great potential! However, the cabin needs some TLC. First, when we arrived we were overwhelmed with many cobwebs and live and dead spiders. My husband spent the first one and a half hours vacuuming spiders, webs, etc. I found egg sacs and live spiders in with the pots and pans. I hand washed every dish before I used it. After our stay, there are less spiders (at least for a while.) Granted this property is in the woods, but it seemed to us that these webs had been there for a while. We brought ground coffee to use in the traditional coffee pot, but the water reservoir, the filter area, and the pot were beyond filthy (beyond my cleaning)- I refused to use it. I went to the store to buy Keurig pods to use with the clean Keurig. Also, the master bedroom mattess was horrible - there is a ridge rising up out of the matress. We sunk into the middle. My husband and I didn't sleep well. Obviously all of this didn't bother previous renters (we're a bit shocked by that), but its not what we expect from a VRBO. Overall, this cabin has great potential and the owner is very polite, but the cabin needs some work.
