Spacious home on private lake. This large estate is waiting with lovely views of the lake and nature abound. 5-bedrooms 3-bathrooms. A great room with full open view kitchen in an open floor plan and giant deck , 3 king size beds, 2 full beds, many couches and comfortable furniture. This terrific property offers plenty of space to relax. The Master suite has jetted bathtub, big glass shower, 3 full bathrooms in total. Enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets amenities like the incredible the private lake, row boats, wooded trails, and bonfires by the lake. We look forward to welcoming you our special place. Located near I-75, I-69, I-475 it’s easy to get here. 1-1/2 hours north of DTW Detroit metro airport. 15 minutes north of FLT Flintairport.

Scott was very helpful and answered my question in a very timely manner. Loved all the rooms in the house, our extended family had plenty room. Loved spending time just looking out at the lake and the fire pit was gorgeous!! The kitchen had plenty of supplies, it was nice to be able to stay there and cook for all of us. We will stay there again.

Thank you for letting us stay the week! We had a wonderful time on our family vacation. The house was very large for all 5 of us, and the view and privacy was perfect! We enjoyed fishing in the lake and spending time together outdoors. The house was very clean, 5 bedrooms with 3 king size beds was very accommodating! The location was excellent for driving to Frankenmuth and the outlets. We enjoyed our time here very much and were sad to leave. Thanks again!

Great unit, myself & my team was in town for work. This was a quiet place to retreat after a long day. We even had acute problem with a blown fuse when we got there. I reached out to Scott & it was rectified quickly without issue. Next time we're in the area, we'll be back!

Spacious, clean rental. Room for everyone to be together, or to hang out doing different activities. Fantastic location, close to Frankenmuth and Birch Run. Already planned a return trip. Looking forward to visiting again.

This well maintained, chalet ranch with finished basement and warm, comfortable, attractive decor has been a great vacation spot for the 6 of us for 2 years—grandparents, parents, and 19,20 year old granddaughters. It is a solo house on a perfect-size spring fed lake. Too small for motor boats. Dock gives lake entrance…wonderfully warm water. We swim, we float on water rafts, we take out the row boat and oars, we fish. We marvel at the view from the shore or lengthy deck. The house sits well in from a country road and we relish the privacy and sense of being free. We appreciate the artful waterfall even without water flowing thru it, and various cozy alcoves and corners on the property. We, and management, work with this older home to lessen the coolness of the lower level and increase the coolness of the main floor. It is manageable enough such that that no one in my party has ever complained.

We rented this house for a family holiday gathering. With a group of all adults, some singles, some couples, this house provided comfortable public and private spaces. And a well-equipped kitchen for preparing Christmas dinner! The lake view was lovely, although winter weather kept us from enjoying the dock and boats. Would absolutely stay again!

Our family of 6 adults stayed for 4 nights over the July 4th holiday. The place was clean, orderly, and adequately supplied. It was wonderfully private. The lake water was warm. The deck is spacious. We had a great time.

Perfect Lake Home!

The spacious house was extremely clean, equipped with everything you need. Of course, my favorite part of the stay was waking up to the relaxing view of the lake! The host communicated well throughout our stay. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to friends and family visiting the area.

This property is the perfect place to relax, recharge, and reconnect as a family! The pictures don’t begin to do justice to this gorgeous home. The owners provide everything you need to enjoy a fun filled week at the lake. Family vacation

My grandsons loved fishing off the pier. The house had plenty of room for all 9 of us. When I had to contact Scott, the host, he replied right away and took care of our minor issue.

Fabulous Stay !

We had a wonderful family stay at the big red house on the lake for our anniversary. It’s wonderful to have a big private space to enjoy nature, on the lake in a huge home. It’s our dream come true spot. My three kids loved playing in the spacious backyard and exploring the woods with the stunning lake as their backdrop. We all had yummy breakfast every morning on the deck overlooking the lake and were able to cook many of our family meals in the big kitchen while enjoying the lake view. Our kids had ample space inside too, they played games downstairs in the game room, but outside was our favorite. I was able to get good rest and relaxation in the jacuzzi tub in master bathroom. Thanks for a great stay! Our kids had so much fun and my husband got some quality rest! We are definitely booking to stay again soon!

Get away in Mt Morris MI

The area is beautiful however we were less than pleased with the property. There were several safety concerns, front entry stairs were very difficult to climb with no hand rail, the refrigerator was plugged in with an extension cord and there were exposed wires in the ceiling of the main bedroom and coming under 2 of the patio doors. It was also not clean. There were dishes in the dishwasher and dead bugs everywhere. Even the screens had debri in them. There is potential for the property to be quite amazing but the home itself definitely needs some TLC. It is also not kid friendly. Outside of the exposed wires, the register covers were not adhered. There is also no microwave and only one tv in the entire house. And it was hard to control the temperature. Again, the area is great and the views amazing but the weather did not let us enjoy the outdoors and the home is not really ready for families with young children.

Hello Kimberly, We do appreciate your stay at our lakefront home and your compliments about our home and our property. I’m not sure why you would fabricate such an untrue exaggerated negative review? The house was clean there is no possible way that there were bugs everywhere because there were not bugs everywhere when we cleaned it before you arrived, when you checked in, or when our team cleaned the home after you departed. What we find on your departure was A big mess that you left at our home with all the waxy foam glitter stickers all over the picture windows!!?!! This mess took our cleaning team two hours with razor blades to clean up. This is a type of mess we have not seen before in any of our rentals. This is cruel trick to leave any home like this! Please Note: We do have a microwave and a brand new large screen TV. The electrical outlets are safe. There is no live electrical wires exposed. We pride ourselves in having a clean, safe, beautiful, memorable home for our guest to experience. We invite readers to come and experience for yourself this amazing lakefront home. Even come by for a preview if you wish to before renting.

Great property; very disappointing house experience. When we arrived and entered the house, it was uncomfortably warm on the main floor (thermostat reading 84 degrees) and there were multiple very noisy portable air fans on full blast. Great room on the main floor was practically all glass, faced the sun, so it cooked the interior air all day. And no blinds or curtains to mitigate the sunlight! Called the owners: they said make sure the air conditioner was on and set to 65 (why wasn’t that done before we got there?). Air conditioner was completely ineffective the whole trip; avg. daily temp 84. Opened some windows by the dinette to try to cool things down. Window cranks weren’t functional; windows had to be shoved closed from outside to latch them shut whenever we left. Bedroom by the front door: pretty tight for 2 people to occupy. No closet rods or hangers in the closet, only 1 small night stand. One of the people moved into the room directly across the hall. That room: one dresser, drawers just fell out when pulled open. The door--it was hanging off the door hinges, taped with packing tape (!) and couldn't close it. Bathroom door downstairs wouldn't latch when closed; fan cover hung from ceiling. Lights in the great room flickered on & off.Beautiful outdoors, but this rental needs some serious TLC. Talked with Scott afterwards, and he said he will address the issues and expressed his regret that we had a poor experience. I have photos but will not post them...

A guest that stays the full 4 day weekend in our beautiful home on the lake, then checks out of the property at end of stay with no problems all weekend then later calls threatening the home owner trying to extortion money for a refund or he will leave a bad review should not be allowed on the VRBO or any rental platform. Talking to the Bill he admitted after staying four days he didn’t know how to turn on the air conditioner in the bedroom area. He admitted they didn’t even open the huge glass doors in the great room to let the autumn breeze in to cool the house down. I ask Bill how much money he wanted back after his long weekend at the lake house. I am embarrassed for Bill. All the other guest leave four and five star reviews except for Bill that didn’t get his extortion money. This experience really makes me want to remove our beautiful home from availability to VRBO guests.
