This is a beautiful unit in a peaceful residential neighborhood surrounded by hills that are misted in the morning. You can sit in the cool morning and evenings at the picnic table to enjoy the beautiful garden and the broader view of the opposing hills. The place has a lot of character, exactly as shown in the listing photos. The kitchen has plenty of counter space. The fridge could be new, has plenty of space and big freezer, and I especially loved that it was absolutely quiet. This place is perfect for guests who would buy all their meals out, bring leftovers home to heat up in the microwave or toaster oven, and toss the food containers. I’m more ambitious and brought all my meals pre-prepared. I was looking for a way to clean my glass dishes, which I used to store the food and to heat it in the toaster oven. There is no water to the unit and no way to clean utensils and dishes. The property listing does state that guests are welcome to use the sink in the house kitchen. However, when I asked for a way to wash my dishes Natasha hesitated, then said her kitchen wasn’t too clean. She did not offer to take me to the kitchen and show me around. As a result, I used the house kitchen sink as minimally as possible. It seemed that we had opposite schedules, so we were never in the kitchen at the same time.
