Featuring two, comfortable King-size bedrooms on the main level and a large, spacious bedroom upstairs with 2 double/twin bunk beds, an adult-size cot (heavy duty), and infant/toddler playpen.

We offer a classic, quiet country setting in a unique farmhouse that has been updated to provide all the modern-day conveniences.

Come to Nauvoo and enjoy your peaceful stay at your home away from home! It is located out in the country, only a 7 min drive to Nauvoo! We are located just 4 miles from the Nauvoo Pageant Headquarters and only 3 more miles to Nauvoo.

Such a charming house in the perfect setting and location! We stayed here with our family of 5 for two weeks and loved our time there! Clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for everyone. Well equipped kitchen and so many towels!

My husband and I recently enjoyed a 3-night stay at the Windmill Farmhouse. It is very cozy, comfortable and clean! It was like having two vacations in one-a wonderful, very short drive into Nauvoo during the day and then a peaceful stay in the country in the evenings. The property has wonderful backdrops outside (fields, windmill, barn, silo) that are perfect for photo-ops so don't forget to bring a tripod for your camera! Laura, the host, promptly responded to any inquiries. We will definitely stay there again!

Clean and cozy stay for our family of six. We had plenty of room and could have accommodated even more if needed. The only thing was planning bathroom time as there is only one, but it was not that big of an issue.

Beautiful and very remote farmhouse! Not too far from smaller grocery stores and half an hour from walmart.We enjoyed nearby paid geode hunting locations as well as a public bridge access to Tyson creek ten minutes down the road.We also tried Press House Winery down the road. Great if you like sweet wines!The upstairs was very hot when we got to the house. It wasn't possible to sleep up there for quite a few hours. There is one small bathroom, so even though the listing says 10-12 people, 4-5 adults would be comfortable. Also, the air conditioning struggled to keep up with the hot weekend, and the house was often at 78 to 80 degrees during the day.

Place was clean, quiet, cute, had all the amenities. Host was polite and answer quickly. Our family of 10 stayed there comfortably. Only "issue" is that the house only has one bathroom, so it was a little tricky to take turns lol.

We loved the Nauvoo Windmill Farmhouse!! We arrived late at night and got in with the code. It was clean, roomy and close to Nauvoo. We didn't worry about the kids being noisy as we played games and had fun together as there were no other houses around...just fields. We ordered food from Walmart and they delivered to our door. We will definitely stay there again!!

The Windmill Farmhouse was the perfect spot for our family stay over the long Geode Fest weekend. The interior is filled with comfy furniture and thoughtful touches that made it easy to relax after hiking all day. My son especially loved the oversized cushion chairs! The location is out-of-the-way and quiet, but the roads are well-kept, and getting in and out to Keokuk, Nauvoo, and so on was a breeze! The upstairs did get a bit toasty, but the window A/C cooled it down in a jiffy. We just turned it on after dinner, and it was perfectly chilled by bedtime. Highly recommend!

Great spot by Nauvoo

This property is amazing. Rural and quiet. There were six of us and we stayed very comfortably. The beds were comfortable. The blackout curtains were much appreciated! Fans were also in the house to help with airflow. One bathroom could be challenging if you had a lot of people staying at the house, but it was just fine for us. Fireflies are EVERYWHERE at dusk! Kitchen was nice & stocked. Washer & dryer were great. Lots of places to sit and relax. The kids appreciated the bean bag chairs! If we are back in the area we will stay here again!

Nauvoo is a picturesque, historic town, with delightful and interesting things to do. Free entertainment during the summer: shows, shops, 1800's style living, plays, music, and more. The river provides a beautiful background to the scenery and entertainment for water-lovers of all ages and genres. Located where Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri meet, Nauvoo provides a unique stopping spot for those traveling along Highway 96 and the beautiful scenic drive known as "River Road". Come for the fall colors and stay for all the seasons!

Our unique Farmhouse is located just 7 minutes from Historic Nauvoo! We are 4 miles from Nauvoo Pageant Headquarters Building and then only 3 more to town. Only a 7 mile drive to enjoy the town of Nauvoo, where the Temple, Mississippi River and all the tourist sites are located.
