The place was okay the outside had overgrown bushes all around front and back. Also I was understanding that it had a beach area but it didn’t it was a big drop into the water. when we walked in home we were greeted with flies. Then we went to take a shower and some of the towels has hair and had a smell to them. The bedroom by front doors bed was very squeaky every time you moved it squeaked also it had no privacy since it had a glass door. Over all it was okay I can tell you all are doing updates to the place which updates are nice furniture is nice and comfortable. Communication with the owner was easy.

Needs improvement but has great potential

We rented this house for 2 nights on a family trip to the falls. Unfortunately, our experience wasn’t great. Check-in was scheduled for 4 PM, but the host let us know the cleaning crew would be there until 5. When we arrived, it was clear the property hadn’t been cleaned at all. The outdoor trash bins were overflowing and full of maggots, which created a significant fly problem both outside and inside the house. Inside, the home needed a deep clean. I would strongly recommend bringing your own bed linens and shower shoes if you plan to stay here. The view of the lake was beautiful but the flies and smells made it hard to be outside to enjoy!

The location of this property is accessible and beautiful- right on the lake, though there is no lake access as it is a cliff down to the water. The house was old, only had window a/c in two of the bedrooms and no a/c in the living room. The storm door was broken and on one hinge. The outside garbage can had not been emptied and was completely full even before we put our garbage in which then became overflowing. The bathroom showers were not clean. One of the bedrooms had a broken door knob and the place was on the shabby side. All appliances worked and they accommodate pets so that was a plus. Overall we will not return to this house and I do not recommend it.

The Perfect Getaway

This was literally the perfect home to unwind in after exploring Niagara Falls and Toronto. My family loved it.
