This was a very charming place in a great location. It was actually a little bigger and roomier than I expected. The only thing that caught me off guard was the nearby train would pass by late at night and early in the morning and the train horn would wake us each time.

Great location

This house is a great location. It's definitely has old charms to it. The dishes are not great and back yard could definitely use some cleaning up, but overall the stay was good.

Awesome Stay!

The home was what you would expect from an older southern home! Porch swing was wonderful! Home was completely stocked and clean! Will definitely rent again if softball brings our family to the area!

We stayed at this beautiful place for 3 nights over the July 4th holiday and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The home is perfectly situated to the beach and close to where we wanted to go and be. We hope to be able to go back to use it again.

Listing and pictures were accurate. Love the 12 foot ceilings and old home coziness. Great location to restaurants, attractions, and the beach. We had a GREAT time. Will keep on our list for future bookings. Host was easy to contact and quick to respond.

Great layout for our group!

This house was perfect for our family. Plenty of room to have some privacy or gather together in one room. Host was very responsive, upon arrival I noticed that something needed repaired (nothing that would affect our stay) I sent a text to the host and gave them the info required to get a part, it arrived at the house before we checked out. Would definitely book again.

Good location

Good location. Could be cleaner. All the kids socks were black after walking around the house. Found a few dead roaches in the dishes. 😳. And the main bathroom shower/tub needs serious updating. Close to the beach.

More Shabby than Chic...........

This house is in desperate need of repairs. I own several properties and I was quite shocked to see that this home was rented in this condition given that its completely unsafe. Considering the age of the home (1900s) and the condition of the paint I can only assume its lead based paint that is peeling off all the doors and molding. Beware if you have pets. They could lick it. The back screen door is completely torn and my son just missed falling down the back stairs because of this. The master bath shower is severely sloped ( approximately 6 inches from front to back) and nearly caused a trip to the emergency room for me. I am covered in bruises from my fall. There are significant structural issues given the age of the house and it past time to call in a structural engineer to suggest a proper way to remedy this. Windows are original and many are broken. My daughter sliced her hand open on one of them. My dogs found multiple dead roaches throughout the house (underneath the beds)! The back yard needs tending as it is full of broken branches and leaves. This is not the best house for families. The carpet is quite dirty and stained with urine. I caution you if you have allergies. The only positive to this house is location. You are close to everything, even walking distance. The decor is beach cute but I would rather rent a safe clean, home then one that has nice decor. As others mentioned prepare to hear the train whistle a. minimum of 3 times each night. I do sorely regret not canceling after the poor experience with EVOLVE management company. I tried calling the company on three separate occasions and waited on hold for approximately 30 minutes each time until I finally was able to talk to a live person. This is not a company that I would have managing my personal vacation rental properties. Hopefully the owner will remedy these issues for future guests.

Vacation in Gulfport Ms

The property was just as it is on the listing . The house was very nice and inviting . The neighbors were friendly and it was convenient to anything you needed to get to . The bathroom in the master around the toilet , the floor is sinking down a little and there was mold around the tile in the guest bath . Other than that the grass needed cutting . I will recommend to my friends and family .
