Kitchen: A brand-new, well-appointed kitchen stocked with all essentials, including a stove and oven, fridge, microwave, a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, and more, making it easy to whip up meals during your stay.

Living Room: Relax in the cozy living area with two sofa beds, and Smart TV with cable. Step out onto the balcony for serene views of a nearby horse farm.

Bedroom: Wake up to picturesque views of Otisco Lake from the comfortable queen-sized bed. Our high-quality mattress will provide restful nights. Fresh sheets and cozy blankets included. Smart TV with cable.

Immaculate. Very comfortable. Well equipped. Extremely accommodating, responsive, and welcoming host. Would recommend with no reservations (as long as carrying luggage and climbing stairs don’t present a personal problem.)

Exceptional stay at this cottage with a beautiful view of the valley & Otisco Lake. It was perfect for a couple or a small family.We got to experience peace & quiet, which is missing from our daily life, since we reside in a extremely populated city. It was a short drive to the town of Skaneateles where there are many great restaurants and cute shops to visit. The communication with the host was excellent and check-in process was easy. Will definitely stay here again when in the Finger Lakes area.

My mother and I stayed here during Family Weekend at Syracuse and we couldn't have been happier with the choice. Ellen is so thoughtful and so communicative, the property is clean and neat and well-supplied, and the view is gorgeous. Wake up to the sight of two beautiful horses grazing in a field! I slept on the fold-out couch, which was very comfortable. Really, we couldn't have been happier. Ellen even left us a loaf of cheddar focaccia from a local bakery! Stay here. You won't be disappointed.

A lovely little cottage 15 minutes from town and in a wonderful secluded location. Everything you need is included in the cabin and the surprise focaccia bread was the best I’ve ever had. Be sure to visit the Patisserie in town to get more.

My husband and I stayed at the cottage during a brief trip back to the area where we met 10 years ago. The cottage was beautifully decorated and well stocked for our needs. Our stay was quiet and relaxing in this peaceful setting. The host’s extra touches, like fresh flowers and bread from a local bakery made our stay even more special. We loved our time there, and would definitely go back again!

This property met all our needs … close to town and less than an hour ride to Syracuse University. We enjoyed hiking at Treman State Park. Also, boat ride and eateries in Skaneateles lake area. We were welcomed in cottage with a personal note , flowers and fresh bread.

Clean, beautiful hospitality

The place was SPOTLESS! It's very cute and was perfect for a little mommy-daughter night. Nice view and a quiet area for a walk. I mentioned to our hosts that my daughter loves croissants and they went out of their way to get her some from their favorite bakery. They also shared a list of nearby hikes and restaurants so I didnt have to spend a bunch of time googling around. The hosts made our little evening away so easy and lovely! Thank you!

Very nice one-night stay

We wanted to visit Skaneateles and then stay overnight. Ellen was great about giving us information for our visit and information to access the cottage. The cottage was comfortable and peaceful and just a short ride from the town of Skaneateles. The bed was super comfy. Enjoyed our brief stay.

Peaceful Retreat

This property is so cute and peaceful! It was well stocked, had some personal touches to make us feel welcome, and was incredibly clean. The views of the lake were beautiful. The bonus for us was being able to watch the two gorgeous horses in the field on the hill.Ellen was a great host and provided prompt communication. We would definitely recommend this property!

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! The location was absolutely perfect—just a short drive from the music venue where our favorite band was playing, which made the whole experience even more special. The place itself was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed to feel right at home.The landlord was fantastic—so welcoming, responsive, and thoughtful. You can really tell they care about making sure guests have a great stay. Okay for a one night stay.

The interior was fine, with an adequately stocked kitchen. As you enter the property, you have to go up a flight of stairs to reach the apartment. The setting is rural, but we were disappointed to find there was no outdoor seating area and no clear view of the lake. The property was clean and the owner clearly communicated directions and check in procedures. Incidentally, there was an unpleasant smell as we walked into the property, but the upstairs living area was not affected. We informed the owner about the smell.

This is property is the perfect quiet little getaway. Country area with beautiful views of the lake, the woods, the farms. Out in the middle of nowhere, (which is exactly what we were looking for) but 30 minutes or less from just about anything you can imagine, Lakes, wineries, breweries, Syracuse,etc. Will definitely be visiting again!

Perfect Stay!

This is the easiest and is the easiest VRBO renter I’ve ever encountered. Ive used the VRBO app for multiple stays in different locations and this one was perfect. Ellen was an amazing host that went above and beyond to make our stay rememberable and enjoyable. The attention to detail that is put into the rental is amazing. Ellen has thought of everything and the house was spotless. Beautiful views and detailed instructions on anything you might be looking for locally. We loved our stay and our only regret was that we didn’t make it a longer stay. I can’t say enough good things about this rental or the owners, except if you’re going to go to Skaneateles, this is the best place to stay. This was a 10 out of 10 stay.

Visitors can enjoy boating, fishing, hiking, shopping and dining, as well as special annual events like the Skaneateles Festival and Dickens Christmas. The village's blend of natural beauty, historical architecture, and community spirit makes it an ideal getaway.
