Great position and a great host who made us very welcome and the briefing along with the suggestions as to places to visit, eat and enjoy were first class. It’s a lived in apartment and this comes through in the quirky and the mundane. From top line TV and audio to the shoe warmer!

The perfect location near Stephansplatz. Walking distance to churches, shopping, restaurants, Belvedere, cafes,… Jan was the perfect host that provided us with lots of recommendations and guidance. He checked in with us every day and alerted us of weather changes, places to shop and eat. The place is great but a little small for four adults. Hard to come home after site seeing and rushing to all take showers (one shower and one toilet) and get ready to make it to a dinner reservation on time, but we made it work. It was a good week and we loved the experience. Jan was fantastic!

Dear Linda, Thank you ever so much for your lovely feedback — I’m delighted you enjoyed your stay and all my little Vienna tips along the way. You’re absolutely right, the apartment only has one bathroom — though with a separate shower, toilet, and a basin room with two mirrors, we tried our best to keep the morning and evening rush civilised. If you prefer two full bathrooms next time, you’ll usually find those in apartments around 140 m² — and by doubling the price. Alternatively, the suburbs offer more space for less, though the extra travel time might just use up the minutes saved by faster shower rotation. It was a real pleasure hosting you! Warm regards, Jan

My parents and I could not have asked for a better property in the best location in Vienna’s first district. Our host was super friendly, helpful and very responsive. The two bedroom apartment had all the amenities one could ask for. The building had a lift which my elderly parents needed and appreciated. We would definitely stay here again and again.

I'm Johannes, a Vienna-based entrepreneur, scientist by training, and part-time art collector, full-time life enthusiast. I’ve lived across Europe, but there’s something about Vienna’s elegance and espresso that always pulls me back. I host because I love turning good stays into great memories—and because someone has to make sure those oil paintings get the admiration they deserve.
If you need local tips, restaurant recs, or want to know where to get the best Sachertorte without the queue, I’m your guy.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

Because honestly? It doesn’t get more Vienna than this. The apartment is one minute from Stephansdom, which means you're basically living inside a postcard. Morning walks take you past Baroque palaces and world-famous cafés. Evenings? Think concerts, candlelight, and cobblestones.
I chose this neighborhood because it blends timeless history with modern flair—and because the idea of not being able to grab a melange and Apfelstrudel within five minutes sounded unacceptable.

この宿泊施設の特徴

This isn’t just a place to sleep—it’s an experience. The ArtApartment is a curated blend of modern comfort and artistic soul. Think: plush beds, strong Wi-Fi, and walls that could belong in a gallery. Every piece of art has a story (and no, none were stolen from a museum).
You’re not just close to Vienna’s heart—you’re part of its pulse. So if you're looking for generic, keep scrolling. But if you're ready for cozy luxury with personality? Willkommen.
