この施設について

Cozy farmhouse w/pool. Central to museums, golfing, lakes, sports & shopping.

Get ready for an unforgettable getaway at the Wildrose Farmhouse, a charming remodeled 75-year-old farmhouse nestled on a sprawling 172 acres of beautiful countryside! This lovely home offers a delightful escape with 3 cozy bedrooms, including a comfy queen bed, a convenient queen sofa bed, darling twin beds in the loft, a rustic twin-over-full bunk bed, and even a pack-n-play crib for the little ones.

You'll love the two bathrooms—one featuring a shower/bathtub combo, and the other with a shower. Whip up delicious meals in the fully stocked kitchen, or enjoy family game night with our fun selection of games for all ages.

Step outside to discover your own peaceful countryside experience! Dive into the fabulous saltwater pool, soak in the spa, or gather around the outdoor fireplace while savoring delicious meals from the BBQ grill. Kids will adore the two playsets, and everyone can enjoy the breathtaking views of mesmerizing sunrises and sunsets.

The back deck is perfect for al fresco dining with a table for four, a fire pit table for evening chats, and plenty of yard games to keep the fun going. Do you love fishing? Grab a fishing rod from the main house and cast a line in the serene ponds and creek right on the property!

And let’s not forget our five lovable farm dogs! These friendly pups will bark a little, but they’re all bark and no bite. They are all free to roam the open acreage unleashed. If you’re concerned, we’d be happy to set up a “meet & greet” to help everyone feel at home! But, if you or anyone in your party is extremely afraid of dogs this guesthouse may not a suitable fit for everyone.

Just a short drive away, adventure awaits at Lake Pat Cleburne and Lake Granbury, plus you can explore the Brazos and Paluxy Rivers, Dinosaur State Park, and Cleburne State Park. Discover hiking trails, water sports, fascinating museums, shopping, fine dining, antiques, thrilling baseball games, and fantastic golfing opportunities!

Centrally located near Cleburne, Godley, Granbury, Glen Rose, and a stone's throw from Fort Worth events, the Wildrose Farmhouse is your perfect retreat to come back to after a day of excitement. Unwind, take a refreshing swim, and enjoy a peaceful night’s rest with the stunning backdrop of nature all around you. Get ready for a getaway like no other!

The farmhouse took me back in my memory! I loved everything about this place. The hosts were amazing. The house is not fancy BUT it is home. The beds were more than comfy. The ambiance was wonderful. The farm dogs were so very friendly and greeted us each time we pulled in the driveway. I’m sure we will book with them again.

Shawn and Bruce were amazing hosts! They have thought about everything with this rental! Often times rentals are not equipped with things like extra trash bags, extra toilet paper, or other basics…they had it all ready to go! This was the perfect place for my family to gather and enjoy some much needed time away from the hustle and bustle!

This was a favorite spot for us. It’s a beautiful property with the most quaint farmhouse to stay in. The pool is absolutely gorgeous and was a dream to have in the Texas heat. It’s well shaded and beautifully set up. The hosts are the kindest, attentive and responsive we’ve ever experienced. We left there after a week feeling like they were family. I would recommend this for anyone looking to not be in the hustle and bustle of the busy surrounding cities. The sunsets are amazing to witness and taking a walk down the gravel drive and hearing all the different birds was such an experience. There are wild bunnies and a pair of cardinals that live right around the farmhouse and you will witness them throughout the day. We can’t wait to go back and visit Shawn and Bruce and farmhouse!

Quaint farmhouse getaway

We enjoyed our time here near Cleburne. The weather kept us from pool time everyday, but it is a beautiful setting with hot tub and waterfall. The farmhouse is surrounded by pretty landscaping. Plenty of thoughtful amenities make it feel warm and welcoming. It is an old house, which is part of the charm. The decor keeps it whimsical while having all the modern conveniences.

Wildrose Farmhouse was the perfect setting for our Board of Directors team building and strategic planning retreat! We enjoyed sitting on the porches and enjoying our coffee in the mornings, watching the wildlife (rabbits & hummingbirds), and getting to love on the dogs, especially Ruckus and Maggie Mae.The pool, hot tub, and Sonic ice maker were huge hits. Shawn set up an extra table and chairs in the dining room to make sure our group of eight could all eat meals together, moved furniture so we would have plenty of space, and even pulled out and made up the sofa bed before we arrived since we would need all beds. Finally, Shawn was fantastic at answering the probably three dozen questions I sent her leading up to our trip. It was a fantastic weekend, and I would definitely return to the farmhouse!
