Welcome to Thistle Retreat, a luxurious 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home with a private hot tub, located in the serene Sunflower Skies near Kanab, UT. Perfect for groups and families, Thistle Retreat offers modern amenities and stunning desert views. Guests get access to our rare-to-find seasonally solar heated and cooled pool, pavilion, pickleball courts, fire pit and playground!

The Space:
Thistle Retreat boasts a private hot tub, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. Guests enjoy a spacious living area with stylish decor, a fully equipped kitchen, and a comfortable dining area. Stay connected with high-speed fiber optic internet and smart TVs throughout the home. Each bedroom features its own ensuite bathroom, ensuring privacy and room for all, with an additional half-bath for convenience. Additional amenities include a fireplace, air conditioning, a 2-car garage, and a private patio that is fenced which includes a BBQ and seating ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay. You will experience unforgettable adventures amidst Kanab's red cliffs staying here.

Bedding Layout:
1st Suite: King bedroom with attached bathroom
2nd Suite: Queen bedroom with attached bathroom
Bunk Suite: 2 Sets of Full Bunks with attached bathroom (4 full beds in total)

Guest Access:
Enjoy full access to Thistle Retreat, including a private hot tub and patio area. Guests can also use the community amenities such as the swimming pool, pavilion, pickleball courts, fire pit, and kids' playground.

Other Things to Note:
Our community outdoor pool is solar heated and open seasonally. Pool is open mid to late May and closes in mid to late October (entirely weather dependent as overnight temperatures will impact opening/closing dates).

Kanab Vacation Home

The house was great, just what we needed for a family of 11. Great house, layout, hot tub and pickle ball court. Close to all of the adventures we went on and even a great house to just relax at on a down day. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book again on our next adventure to Kanab.

So good we’d come again

This house was exactly like it shows and communication from the host and the website info made the stay convenient and easy. Our two families enjoyed exploring Kanab together and sharing this spacious home was great. Everything in the home is nice and comfortable and better than expected in a vacation rental. We’d all come back and choose this exact house again. Thanks again to the host and property manager for being easy to work with and helpful.

Nice place

Property was nice. Manager was quick to answer questions we had and get us a few items the property needed in a timely manner. And yet they respected our privacy. Pickleball courts were fun, this rental had paddles and pickleballs. Pool was closed because it was still cold but the hot tube was fun. Grill was working well. The whole community has vacation rentals so you don’t feel your bothering any locals. And we loved our time in Kanab. Thank you!

Thistle is great

I want to first thank Jeff of Utah Escapes. Jeff was very courteous and helpful in the booking process and had good communication throughout the stay. The home was very spacious for our party of 6, as well as clean. The setting of the home is perfect, just outside of Kanab, with a beautiful backdrop setting of the area. All of the beds were very comfortable and seemed new (a huge plus for my back issues). Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The kitchen is decently stocked, has a crockpot and a drip coffee maker, but not a K-cup style. A huge plus was being able to park in the garage, with a garage opener provided! This was great for loading and unloading as needed, and not in the elements. Our kids loved using the pool and Pickle Board courts while at the house. We purchased a medium size cooler while visiting and left it at the house for future vacationers. Having this was a must for the trails and heat! Great place, don’t hesitate to book it.
