ALLOW US TO HOST YOU AND YOUR FAMILY FOR A BEACH HOLIDAY:
This beautifully furnished beachfront condo on Longboat Key, Florida is the largest 2 bedroom unit available in the Beachplace complex...over 1500 sqft. We recently completed a total window replacement project, installing new windows and doorwalls throughout the unit. The views are spectacular....few rental units have this added luxury. We also upgraded the entertainment system in the living room with 60" wall-mounted Sony TV and soundbar....great for movies and sports. Xfinity cable box allows you to log into your Netflix or Amazon Prime accounts and also has DVR service.

This two bedroom/two full bath condo was totally remodeled and renovated, floor to ceiling. It was gutted down to the cement frame and rebuilt with premium, high-end features (more details below). If you value cleanliness, this condo is immaculate....please see my guest reviews. Beachplace is very popular in the summer with European and Canadian vacationers with many families returning year after year.

Located on Florida's Gulf Coast just across the bay from downtown Sarasota, this luxury unit is in the Beachplace complex (building 4, 4th floor) at the south end of Longboat Key. As an exclusive premium gated community, Beachplace has all the amenities including a large heated pool, hot tub spa, tennis courts, exercise gym, clubhouse, walking paths, wireless internet, and much more. But the real reason to come here is the private beach -- 9 miles of sugar white sand, crystal clear water, and plenty of peace and quiet. Stroll for hours, swim in 85+ degree water in the summer, hunt for exquisite sea shells, or fish from the local pier.

This unit offers a King bed master suite, and two twin beds in second bedroom, large screen HDTVs, DVD players, wireless internet, all linens, dishes, etc provided. Washer and dryer are in the unit. The unit is 'turn key' - everything you need is there including fishing and tennis gear. Also there is a spacious furnished patio with views of the Gulf of Mexico to the right, and Sarasota Bay to the left. Enjoy spectacular sunrises or sunsets!

The unit is located on the 4th floor (of 6) and is over 1500 square feet with covered parking included. Our renovation included completely gutting the unit down to the cement frame and modernizing everything with high-end features. Here are some highlights:
• New HVAC system in 2019, includes an ultraviolet disinfection system that kills airborne viruses and bacteria in the air.
• Beautiful kitchen with custom premium cherry cabinets, Brazilian granite counters and backsplash, stainless steel appliances, and porcelain tile floor
• New (2024) LG front loading washer and dryer in unit
• Hardwood floors throughout - Amendiom Brazilian oak harvested under the principles of sustainable forest management
• Master bath with custom-built walnut spa vanity, Brazilian granite top, two graphite vessel sinks, charcoal porcelain tile, multi-head shower with stone tile surround and clear glass enclosure.
• Guest bath with custom-built cherry vanity, Brazilian granite top, patterned glass vessel sink, porcelain tile, Jacuzzi tub / shower with stone tile surround, custom glass sliding door.
• Open design and layout - removed walls, raised ceilings, created an open and bright floorplan
• Bright lighting throughout with dimmers
• Casablanca ceiling fans in both bedrooms, absolutely silent with infinitely variable speeds
• Hunter-Douglas window treatments
• New high-definition flat screen TVs (Sony) and Xfinity cable. On demand options plus access to Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video and more.

Home away from home

My wife and I just concluded our second annual two-month stay at Moe's rental unit in Longboat Key. Again, we enjoyed an immensely positive experience. We loved the weather, the setting, and the unit. Moe continues to be a remarkably attentive and responsive landlord, quickly responding to concerns--of which we had few--and following up as needed. The unit maintains its clean, updated, and comfortable feel. In it, we have felt very much at home, much more than itinerant snowbirds. We are looking forward to our third visit to Moe's place next year.

A gem on Longboat Key

My wife and I just completed our third annual two-month stay at this modern, well-appointed unit at Beachplace, and we are looking forward to our fourth visit next year. Moe remains a wonderfully involved and conscientious landlord. He is readily available to address any questions or concerns (of which there were few) and checks in occasionally to make sure that everything is okay. He treats what might be best seen as a minor inconvenience, a temporarily powerless television for example, as a problem that requires immediate attention and ensures that any fixes are handled promptly. The unit itself is clean and elegant with modern appliances and plenty of cooking, cleaning, and other supplies. My wife notes that it feels much more like a home than a simple beach crash pad. We have rented elsewhere in Florida and seen several other spaces at Beachplace and believe that Moe's place is at the top of the line. We are less familiar with other complexes on Longboat but we can say that we have been pleased with Beachplace. It is located conveniently to St. Armand's Circle and the Sarasota side of the Key. We like the Beachplace layout, its excellent beach, and stellar facilities, including a huge hot tub, a nice pool, and a stocked fitness center. In all, we feel extremely lucky to have found a first-rate unit in a top-notch facility.

Excellent property with services to match

The property was immaculate and well-supplied. The owner was meticulous in providing information about staying at Beachplace and Longboat Key. He was responsive to any questions which were very few since he had already documented everything we needed to know. The only surprises were pleasant ones.

Beautiful BeachPlace Condo

Our stay was great and Moe is an excellent host and communicated with us very regularly throughout our 1 month stay. I would definitely recommend to anyone and looking forward to planning our next trip in the future. The property has a great pool, is a 2-3 minute walk to the beach and is very relaxing and peaceful. Moe manages the property very meticulously and it exceeded all of our expectations. The condo is sitiuated very close to St. Armands Square just a very short 5 minute drive.

so quiet & relaxing

Our stay was amazing. The condo is gorgeous. Everything we could possibly want (even if we didn't know it!) was available to use. The fully stocked wine bar was a nice surprise!! The beach was beautiful and only a short walk away. The pool was huge and it was so lovely to take a little dip after being on the beach. The area is so QUIET, at times it felt like we were the only people there! Sarasota is only a few minutes away if you want to go out to eat. Publix was right down the road with a little coffee shop nearby (very good iced coffee!). I was so sad when we had to leave! Moe was seriously the most conscientious host EVER. He checked up on us to make sure we got there okay and was available for any questions or concerns. Perfect for a much-needed break!

Our stay easily exceeded expectations. The condo was beautiful. The complex was incredible. Our host (Moe) sincerely cared that we enjoyed our stay and made the whole process a pleasure. a perfect spot!

What a beautiful place to spend our spring break. We couldn't have asked for a more gracious host than Moe. The condo is spotless with every amenity. The grounds are spectacular with a large and mostly uncrowded pool. The beach is just steps away, with umbrellas and lounge chairs. All in all a perfect get away for our family of 4!

Great first time at Beachplace - April 2018

The condo is great, updated, fully equipped and with nice views. We appreciated Beachplace for its well groomed property, its secured environment and various amenities. We especially liked the direct access to the beautiful beach as well as the large pool. It was easy and pleasant to deal with the owner who is very professional, caring and available. We truly enjoyed our time spent at Beachplace.

fantastic stay

Exceptional property. Perfect in every way!

Wonderful condo managed by a very caring and thoughtful owner. Lovely decor, extremely clean (spotless!!!) with the utmost attention to every detail for a relaxing stay. This is by far the best property in Beachplace. Moe is very gracious and a pleasure to deal with. We have stayed in several other properties over the years at Beachplace and this is the best. We are returners - I think this is our 4th trip back to Moe's wonderful condo on beautiful Longboat Key and we will return for many years to come. The condo has absolutely everything you need and was presented to us spotlessly clean. Moe is a very caring and considerate host - nothing is too much trouble ....that's why we return. The Beachplace facilities are fab - the pool, gym and the beach - again the staff there are very helpful in advising you where to go , where to eat , where to shop. We really didn't want to come home to the UK but need to plan our next trip !!!

More Than Satisfied!!

My wife and I rented Moe's unit at Beachplace in January and February and were very satisfied in every respect. The apartment was attractive, clean, and nicely updated. We were particularly impressed by the tasteful decor, spaciousness, and attention to detail. In contrast with previous Florida apartments we have rented, Moe's place felt like a home rather than simply a spot to "crash." Beachplace as a complex is well run and appointed. Its pool, hot tub, and fitness center far surpassed those in similar facilities where we have rented. The grounds are beautiful and beach access is easy. We found the management and staff professional and courteous. Most of all, Moe is a gracious and hands-on owner who was clearly focused on enhancing our experience. Our favorite example of his generosity was his kind offer to gift us a new Keurig coffeemaker--even though the unit already has a conventional coffee brewer--after we off-handedly mentioned that we have a Keurig at home. Throughout our stay, Moe was quick to respond to questions, recommend sites and restaurants, and otherwise be accessible and in touch. Apparently, Moe has a group of long-term renters and deservedly so. A late cancelation led us to his place this year and we spent two months commenting on our good fortune. We have already booked and are looking forward to next year.

That is exactly the impression I want all my guest to come away with.....a home away from home. Family vacation

My family and I had a wonderful vacation in tbis apartment on longboat key. The apartment is so well kept and everything is updated. The rain showers and multiple shower heads were my kids favorite part. the apartment is stocked w garbage bags and detergents and everything you would need. Moe is a wonderful landlord and so nice and so accessible if you ever need anything or have any questions. The actual property and beach and Gulf of Mexico are incredible and Longboat Key / Sarasota has long been our favorite place in the world. Can't wait to return!

Adam -- Glad to hear you enjoyed the condo. I hope you and the family had a nice beach holiday even though you were a little under the weather for a couple days. April is such a nice time of the year on Longboat Key. The winter crowds die down a bit and the weather is perfect, warm but not hot and humid yet. This condo has been family-owned for the past 39 years. We absolutely love it and love every minute in Sarasota. My parents first visited Longboat Key in 1974 and bought a condo in Seaplace two years later. Then in 1984, they purchased this unit in Beachplace primarily for guests and as a rental property. They are now retired and have turned the property over to me.

I live in southwest Georgia, a small town called Albany. I come down to Sarasota whenever possible with my wife and kids. I think it is simply the most beautiful and peaceful place I have ever seen. We focus on establishing long-term relationships with our guests. Our first renters stayed year-around for 12 yrs. Then for 8 years, we enjoyed renting to a retired couple but just during the winter season. Now we are looking to establish new relationships with those wanting a winter or summer home, year after year. Of course, the occasional vacationer or holiday guest is always welcome.

Beachplace is a stunning property. And Longboat Key is a jewel on Florida's Gulf Coast. I have traveled all over the world, seen some of the world's most famous beaches. I promise none of them beats Longboat Key. It is simply beautiful. See the pictures, although they don't do justice. You will see as you drive from Sarasota out to the island. It's like entering your own personal paradise. Sorry to be a little over the top, but you will see for yourself once you arrive...

This unit is totally updated, completed in Jan 2012 after 8 months of intensive work. Then in summer 2015, we completed a window replacement project to open up the views and sight lines. NOW BE CAREFUL HERE....You will see lots of ads that say updated, remodeled, renovated, etc. Look carefully... most have been superficially brushed up. Perhaps a new countertop, or new tile floor, maybe new paint.

This unit was totally remodeled from top to bottom. We removed walls and ceilings, relocated the HVAC air handling unit to open up the kitchen, raised fire sprinkler lines to raise the ceiling, basically opened every room to make the interior space as large as possible. Then we built a custom kitchen, custom baths, and made lots of other improvements:
Here are some highlights:
•Beautiful kitchen with custom premium cherry cabinets, Brazilian granite counters and backsplash, stainless steel appliances, and porcelain tile floor
•New LG Washer and Dryer in Unit
•New hardwood floors throughout - Amendiom Brazilian oak harvested under the principles of sustainable forest management
•Master bath with custom-built walnut spa vanity, Brazilian granite top, two black pearl vessel sinks, charcoal porcelain tile, multi-head shower with stone tile surround and clear glass enclosure.
•Guest bath with custom-built cherry vanity, Brazilian granite top, patterned glass vessel sink, porcelain tile, Jacuzzi tub with multi-head shower and stone tile surround.
•Open design and layout - removed walls, raised ceilings, created an open and bright floorplan
•New lighting throughout
•New Hunter-Douglas window treatments
•New high definition flat screen TVs (Sony) and Bly-Ray players in all rooms
•New high glass panel door in the master bedroom to allow you to wake up with a georgious view of the gulf.

Trust me...no other unit looks like this one. But don't take my word for it. Just look at the pictures and compare to other units in Beachplace.
