Condo was well furnished and clean. The host was incredible. The location was perfect. Right on the bay and a few minute walk to the ocean side . My family had a great time over Thanksgiving. I would highly recommend this condo.

Nice house by Mission Beach

We had a great stay at this property! It was directly on the bay with beautiful views. We were just a quick walk from Mission beach too. There was plenty of room for our party of 6. Carolyn was a welcoming and responsive host. Would come back again!

This was the most perfect vacation rental we have ever experienced. The host was most gracious and it was extra special to be among her friendly Family! The parking was ideal having 2 spaces so friends and family could come visit. Fabulous location too. We enjoyed the fireworks!

Very nice stay

Everything in the listing was accurate and we really appreciate that honesty. The property was clean, well stocked, and had a great view. The dedicated, roomy outdoor parking space was really appreciated. Close to everything. Carolyn, the owner, was easy to reach. We'd go back in a minute!

We loved our time here!

We loved our time at the Bay and this home was the perfect set up for my husband and I. Our daughter and her family stayed with us. The kitchen was large, well stocked for meal prep, and dine in meals. It was great having enough space where everyone had a bedroom with a comfy bed. In the whole, a very livable house and peaceful environment. We stayed a month, and during that time I was required to work. My work involved more than checking email. While I was able to make it work, I do recommend bringing a hot spot. There are also coworking facilities close by (1 mile) that are fairly reasonable. But hey, you are supposed to be on vacation, right?

Beautiful Condo and View

We loved our stay. Right on the bay, steps to the sand. Beautiful deck where we could watch the grandkids play in the sand. Host was very nice and everything went smoothly. Highly recommend for families. Large open living space - kitchen, dining, living room, and large deck all open to accommodate our entire family.

The best ever rental!!!!!

Over the last 30 years I have had the delight of hosting my children and grandchildren at the beach- this was the BEST rental ever. Carol Carol Benson was very helpful. There is a loose floor tile , which was no problem but Carol should know about it. Couldn’t find the black garbage can so we used the neighbors. Thank you very much Betsy Mcintyre

A wonderful location and lovely condo with very comfortable accommodations and nice amenities. Our children and grandchildren loved it and the bay was perfect for young children. We will definitely be back. Great memories were made!

Our best experience at Mission Bay!

This property was perfect for our family. We had never stayed on Mission Bay. Our children loved the sand and calm water. It was less than a five minute walk for the waves. My son spent hours looking for clams, crabs, and anything else that he could find. With all the beach toys right there, my girls spent hours making Sandcastles and other sand sculptures. The condo was beautiful. It was newer than anything we had ever stayed in and it was perfect for our family as we used every bed. I could not recommend this property more!

Great Place for Families Right on the Bay

We really enjoyed our stay at Carolyn's beach home and would definitely come back. The location is awesome - right on the sand on the bay where it's warmer, calmer and way less crowded than the beach side. It's also walking distance to lots of great restaurants and coffee shops (Olive Cafe, Buzz Coffee, Molly's, The Mission, Rosaraia, Pizza, etc). The condo is spacious and has a good layout for a large group/family and is well stocked with everything you need to cook and play, including a kayak, a couple beach chairs, a SUP, etc. We just stepped outside and played for hours on the beach each day and could even let the kids go out there on their own and watch them from the deck. Communication was great. Any time we had a question Carolyn got back immediately and was super helpful. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars overall is that it's a bit outdated and had some cleanliness items that made it so I couldn't give it 5 stars. There are cracked tiles in the kitchen, the bathrooms are outdated (but totally functional), the area above the stove vent hadn't been cleaned in forever and there were marks and stains on some walls (but all the stuff that matters was very clean...and I know Carolyn will address those few items). That being said, I kind of like that it isn't perfect because I wasn't worried about my kids messing up a pristine, new remodeled condo. Overall, I would definitely go back. Thanks so much, Carolyn!

Mission Beach Fun

Good location within walking distance to many recreational activities and to restaurants. Fun toys in the garage. We parked 2 Palisades on the outside parking and had to park our third car on El Carmel because the garage is pretty small and won't hold a car and the kayak and paddleboard.

Wonderful Place!!

We absolutely loved staying here. The view was wonderful and the condo had everything that you would possibly need. It is a great location, my 7 year old loved being able to walk to the ocean with his folks. We definitely would love to return. We are a farming family from Brawley, California who demolished a 1950's 2 bedroom/1 bath home and constructed a 3 condo building completed in 2005. The 3rd level is my private residence with ability for family celebration/overflow into the other 2 condos (and now need even more space). At last count blessed with 4 married children, 15 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 2 more in pocket!

Breakfast, lunch & dinner restaurants again just 2 blocks to Mission Blvd & Santa Clara
