From San Diego Locals: A Staycation Worth Repeating!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this beach house in Mission Beach! The location couldn’t be better—just steps to the boardwalk and sand, and a short walk to the restaurants and Belmont Park. Waking up to the view of the ocean and the sound of the waves and sipping coffee made every morning feel like a dream.The house itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked with everything we needed—from kitchen essentials to beach towels. The layout was comfortable and spacious, perfect for both relaxing and spending time with families and friends. The outdoor patio was a highlight—we enjoyed BBQ dinners, lounging around the fire pit, and sunset views almost every night.Communication with the host was smooth and responsive, and check-in was a breeze. I’d highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to soak up the best of San Diego’s beach life.

Gorgeous beachfront luxury

We stayed on mission beach for a week. The house is fabulous, perfectly clean, 4 large bedrooms and lots of bathrooms. Theres a beautiful high class kitchen overlooking the mission beach walk and the sandy beach. Theres a low wall to give you a sense of your own space un the yard by the fire pit. If I have another good year of business, I'll be back

Family Vacation

Took our 5 adult children and there was more than enough space! Great location on the strand and access to restaurants and coffee shops! Loved hanging out by the fire on the porch in the evenings. Nice to have parking, too!

Fun in the sun

Came down for the boise state bs sdsu game , and stayed for a few days ! Great beach , restaurants close great walking , biking and people watching ! Nice place too ! Love the fire pit !

Beautiful property with lots of space. Great to have a bedroom and 2 baths on bottom floor. On the boardwalk, great views, great location. Firepit outside was amazing. Grill worked perfect.

SIMPLY AWESOME!

We loved this place! 3rd time on mission beach, this time for a business training in town & - this house is phenominal. We had plenty of space to cook and sit by the fire in multiple locations. We will be back either for business or family.

Living space is fantastic

Living space and patio were great! The upstairs bedrooms were spacious and quiet (especially for the beach). Just wish there was a bathroom for each room upstairs.

Amazing Location

This property is great, with the highlight being the large patio right on the boardwalk. Great people watching! Bedrooms were spacious, plenty of room for our 8 person group. It's also a 2 min walk from a local market which made it super convenient for last minute items. The garage was plenty large for our two SUVs, which made parking a breeze. Just a great overall property.

Perfect location and spacious throughout.

The property is beautiful and just as described. We hung out on the patio with the fire pit the majority of the time, which was perfect. Would absolutely recommend this place to everyone. The boardwalk is the best place to stay when in the area and this setup is top notch to relax and enjoy the stay. The bedrooms were roomy and plenty of space to unwind if needed. Check-in and check-out were seamless and having a two car garage was so convenient with the limited parking in the area of PB.

Great location in San Diego

We enjoyed this property with our two young children because it was directly on the beach and because there are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. We were able to just park the car and then spend our time in the sand or walking for food or sundries instead of having to drive everywhere to do anything. The property was clean and well-laid out and the outside fire pit was fun.

Instructions provided were not clear. Tried calling the management team for assistance but have never received a call back. Discovered the wash machine was broken (won't drain, etc) when we tried using it. Couldn’t get the fire pit started, again Instructions were not clear.

We Loved the location. Lots of action and people watching right on the boardwalk. We really enjoyed the fire pit. Close to everything! Neighborhood is a bit noisy with early morning trash pick up And neighbor noise. The rental unit upstairs had children running around so be aware of that possibility.

For once the pictures don’t lie

Without a doubt the nicest place we have stayed and we do VRBO one to two times a year. The rental was perfect for all our needs. The place was clean, beds were comfy, and the location right on the beach was simply amazing. We couldn’t ask for anything more. We had 8 in our party and it felt very spacious. Everyone had a blast and were blown away with this property. Thank you!!!!!

We had a group of 9 (6 adults and 3 children) and everyone had plenty of room to spread our downstairs or go upstairs to use one of the balconies for some away time. The only suggestion I would have is more seating along the front of the property, it stays shading longer there.

Family Vacay

Great place, great location! Property managers very nice and communicative. Could use some items in the kitchen. We had to buy a large pot, bigger bowls for serving salad,. Lacking measuring cups. Blender was broken. Can opener didn’t work. But the staff was great. They brought us a blender and a new can opener.

Great location, but property management failed

The location and property was just what we wanted. Problem was there was running water the management knew about, but did not disclose. This caused family members having to deal with running water noise for 2 nights. Management sentva plumber 2 days in a row and fixed the problem for the last night of our stay. Then the master bedroom toilet stopped working. Management offered a financial reimbursement for the issues. I was told I would get confirmation by Monday, but never did. They were no afraid to interrupt my trip with asking for access for the plumber and making sure there were not any issues for the next renters. We loved the location, but will definitely rent from a different management company due to the experience.

Excellent condo in fantastic location

There were 8 of us that stayed in this condo for 5 nights. The location was right on the beach and close to restaurants and shops. Great for people watching. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit in the mornings and evenings. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, cutting boards, knives, plates and glasses. The beds were very comfortable. The condo was definitely big enough to accommodate such a big group. I would definitely stay here again. The only negative things I would say are that the fireplace in the living room didn’t work and the bbq grill would only heat up to 160 degrees. Not hot enough to cook. I told Bluewater Vacation Rentals about this but they wouldn’t send someone out to fix the items. The other things I will mention are the counter was not clean when we arrived and the floors need a good cleaning. If you didn’t wear shoes around the house the bottom of your feet would turn black. There were no rugs/mats by the doors to wipe your feet off before you came in the home so the floor got very dirty during our stay. Lastly, Bluewater did not provide Kleenex in all the bathrooms and we ran out of TP. When I called to get more they said it wasn't their problem. You would think when you’re paying so much for a place that they could provide you with enough TP for your stay. Anyway, it was a really nice condo and we couldn’t have had a better location.

You can park your car and you won't need it. Within 1 block are all of the restaurants, beach shops, markets, coffee houses, and beach rental shops in Mission Beach. Just across the strand is the bay and you can explore the ocean and bay front for miles and miles.
