The home was private and a short drive into town. The property was perfect for our family with its layout as well as clean and well maintained. Great location to downtown West Jefferson. Very nice home with well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and multiple common spaces. A perfect long weekend in the mountains. Highly recommend.

Great Location and beautiful cabin

Love the proximity to West Jefferson and Frosty's Tree Farm. Hosts were communicative and helped us retrieve a very significant lost item. Highly recommend this property and the property management group to anyone.

Great Spot

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was a short drive away, yet thanks to the way this house is located in the woods, it felt like we were out in an isolated location. It was a great combo of being close to everything yet feeling remote.

Great Cabin

We came to West Jefferson for my husband’s Aunts funeral. The cabin was a perfect place for his brother and wife along with us to stay. Lots of living space to visit with each other. It was a short trip and at first my brother in law thought of the Holiday Inn Express. They tripled their rates for the weekend and that’s when I looked for a house to rent. Location was perfect for us. House was clean and the driveway wasn’t bad at all. I would stay here again.

Highly recommend this property We’ve been staying in cabins in this area for years One of the best. Getting up the driveway can be difficult without 4WD and address on driveway a little confusing especially if arriving late Wonderful place and good location to West Jefferson. Will go back

Winter Getaway at Rock n Rhapsody near West Jefferson

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great winter getaway in West Jefferson. The day we arrived it had just snowed about 7 inches at the cabin. Per the weather reports we expected some snow at higher elevations and had purposefully selected a cabin near West Jefferson to make it easier to get to. It was still a bit of a challenge as on the night we arrived we could not make it all the way right up to the cabin with our mini van. So we parked a bit down the hill and made a few walking trips to bring our personal items and supplies to the cabin. The next day we ventured to town but realized going down the hill it would not be easy to get back up the road. I had brought a set of cable chains along for the car just in case and put them on about a 1/2 mile from the cabin before coming back in the afternoon. You should not drive very far with them on normal roads. They worked great though. We zipped right up the road all the way to the cabin and parked at the top of the drive as there was still a lot of snow in the driveway. If you are not confident on snowy and steeper than normal roads come with a 4WD or avoid the snow. The rest of the week was awesome as the sun came out and the grand kids had a great time in the snow. One of our best mountain trips ever. Later in the week I took one grandson fly fishing in a stream near Lansing. He caught 10 nice rainbow trout. One was about 14 inches long. The water was cold but he hung in there for about 4 hours. We ate a very nice casual dinner at New River Brewery, had coffee at Bohemia and got our groceries at the Ingles in West Jefferson. We love the area and would definitely come back and use the Rock n Rhapsody cabin if we have the opportunity.

Peaceful weekend

The home was beautiful and well equipped with everything needed. It was nestled in a quiet area of trees while at the same time It is located very close to downtown West Jefferson so we attended an antique festival. We will recommend to others and keep it on our go to list for future getaways. Thank you!

Wonderful stay at the cabin. It was so well stocked, everything we could possibly have wanted. Porch was great for morning coffee and afternoon wine. My son loved the play room and the Roku set up. We'll definitely be back

Everything was just as listed -very well equipped- nice location except trees block most of view - we have all wheel drive so road was not a problem for us - also, we are all over “80” so the 3 level stairs was a “little “ problem for us.

Perfect cabin

We had a great weekend in this cozy cabin. Lots of space and all the amenities. We loved sitting on the deck and enjoying the fresh mountain air. Very close to West Jefferson while it seemed far away from anything.

Beautiful Home

This property is beautifully decorated and is completely stocked with everything you can imagine including kitchen items, games and movies. It is very spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed cooking steaks on the gas grill. This house is nestled in the woods so if you like seclusion you will love this place. If you go in the Winter a 4 wheel drive would be a must.

West Jefferson house

The house is amazing! Beautiful, clean, well stocked kitchen. We arrived at night and in the dark the final 200ft or so were not well marked. Also final 200ft is gravel rd. Recommend arriving in daylight. Otherwise it was a wonderful stay. Would definitely come back!

Lost Driveway

The property was perfect, the drive to it, not so much. A few signs on the road in would improve finding the cabin faster. If you don't like climbing twisting gravel roads. This location is NOT for you. The cabin was clean and as advertised and I would stay there again.
