Riverstead

A stunning modern log cabin, Riverstead provides a fun and relaxing getaway with private easy access to the New River. Guests can enjoy tubing, kayaking, fishing and bird watching. This beautifully decorated and immaculately clean cabin has a fully equipped kitchen with ample seating inside and out for dining and relaxation.

Enjoy peaceful mornings on the porch, drinking coffee and watching the river flow by. Enjoy starlit evenings around the fire pit or in the hot tub. In between, there are puzzles, games, and books for folks of all ages. Riverstead is in close proximity to hiking trails, state parks and the shops and restaurants of West Jefferson and Lansing.

AMENITIES: Expansive wraparound porches, fully equipped kitchen with wine fridge, all king size beds, hot tub, fire pit, outdoor gas grill, gas log fireplace in the living room, Smart TVs in living room and all bedrooms (streaming logins are not provided), Wi-Fi (300mpbs), washer/dryer, and central heating and air.

King (Bedroom 1), Smart TV, Full Bathroom (walk-in shower), and closet with hangers and luggage rack.
Half Bathroom with washer/dryer and iron/ironing board
Kitchen – fully equipped with refrigerator, wine refrigerator, microwave, oven, stove, Ninja Dual Brew coffee maker, toaster, crockpot, hand mixer, and blender. Plenty of dishes, silverware, skillets, pots, pans, wine glasses, and barbeque utensils. Dining table with seating for 6 and 4 stools at the breakfast bar.
Great Room – Gas fireplace, 65” Smart TV (streaming logins not provided), games, puzzles, and books for children and adults.

Beautiful cabin, very clean and tastefully decorated. We had everything we needed, we will definitely be back to do some fishing in the spring or fall, great location!

Beautiful Retreat

My husband and I love staying here! It is close to everything you need, but also tucked away from the hustle and bustle of WJ.

Very clean, had everything we needed to enjoy our time, was able to fish, and catch some trout, small mouth bass eithin a couple hundred yards of the cabin, nice quiet evenings on the deck, couldnt ask for anything else

Beautiful cabin. Great location. Only gripe is they expect you to go to the county dump if you have more than 2 small bags of trash. The cabin sleeps 8, so it’s not hard to fill 2 bags of trash. Ive been staying in this area for years and have never been expected to take the trash to the dump.

This place was absolutely amaing for winding down and soaking in the quietness of mother nature. We observed many deer crossings in the New River, star gazing at its best. A fire bit to make smores and to cath up with good friends.The house was very comfortable and clean. We will definitely be back.

This home is beautiful - both inside and out. We enjoyed it so much, we're bringing our children back in the spring. Note: this property is not private - house next door shares driveway.

I think this is the 4th or 5th time staying here. My husband and I love the location, close to downtown WJ and a grocery store. The house is amazing and cozy. Love the new downstairs bathroom btw.
