False Advertising
The communication and the ad were not good. It advertised a garage and because of storage in the garage the only car that would be able to fit in there would be a Mini Cooper. So that's how it began. Many different things happened and we would call as these things appeared. Screen off the track, broken; inside kitchen cabinets were dirty and so we wiped all of them. Wood floor had screws in many places to hold the wood down and if barefoot you'd stub your toe, termites or Fire Ants??? burrowing through the baseboards in the bedroom, drawer broken in kitchen taped shut and dryer would not engage because there was a bandaid on the gear when we removed the knob and so we had to use a needle nose pliers to make it work. Refrigerator needed a new water filter. When we would call the Gal she's say I'll be in Palm Springs next week and can stop...No Show, another time she said she was coming she said there was a death of a family member in her office. We were there five weeks and she had plenty of opportunity to send a handyman or come herself to inspect. Never happened. We loved the community but would never rent from her again. The false advertising should have been enough to refund us partially for the inconvenience of having our car outside. SMH
