Blue Cabin in Idaho Springs

This cabin is the perfect spot to rest after a day in the mountains! The main floor living room and kitchen are fully stocked, but please note that the fridge is a mini fridge. The upstairs loft is outfitted with a queen bed and a queen size pull-out sofa. The basement has a bunk bed!

One thing to note: our valley location limits our access to internet, so cell signal, WiFi and cable can be slow or non-existent at times. We recommend planning to be off-the-grid in case this happens during your stay! There is a DVD player :)

Overall, our stay was pretty good. It was spacious and affordable. We were discouraged to find a heap of dirty towels in the bathroom and two full bags of tied trash that had not been taken out. There were also some chip crumbs on the floor in the basement. Had it been clean, it would have been a more enjoyable stay.

This was a great location and only 1/4 mile from the wedding venue we were coming for. The space is very small, and not a lot of your typical niceties, i.e. an iron, but it was super cute and fit our needs well. The only issues we found were the Wi-Fi connection was very weak and was difficult to get anything to come up. In addition, on the day we were scheduled to leave, the power company informed us that the power was going to be shut off all day in order to replace a transformer behind the house. Luckily, it didn't happen the day before when we were supposed to be getting ready for a wedding. We were gone before the power got shut off, so it didn't create a hardship.

We absolutely loved this charming cabin. It was very clean and well maintained. The location was perfect for us. We would stay here again and wish we had a few more days in the area. The reindeer was so cute!

Conveniently located near Idaho Springs and within a quick drive to many things to do! The space itself was comfortable, clean, and had thoughtful touches. Highly recommend this place whether you are staying a night or several and exploring the great Rockies!
