Absolutely amazing property from the private dock access to the hot tub to just the cabin itself. The hosts were EXTREMELY sweet, kind, responsive and overall fantastic! The house was stunning, it was so well stocked the only thing we needed to get more of was garbage bags because we have a ton of kids. Maine has officially become our favorite place and we will be back to rent this cabin and many more. I cannot say enough how happy we are with this property, the cleanliness, and the hosts. Thank you so much for the memories for our family, we already can't wait until next year!

Great visit on the pond

We had a great visit to Moosehead Lake. We loved the private swimming hole and great amenities of the house. Billy was very responsive and went above and beyond answering our questions. Would recommend!

Host was super responsive and answered questions quickly. Property was great and well laid out for a family of two adults and two teenagers. Large yard was a plus for a wiffle all tournament and for our two dogs to roam. Food bowls for dogs and blankets to cover couches were supplied and appreciated! Getting to the pond required an easy two minute walk, and the pond was lovely for kayaking. The home was clean and had plenty of towels. All appliances worked well. Proximity to town was great, a quick drive to get to store and restaurants. Highly recommend!

A perfect place to relax and enjoy some time away from your busy schedule. The spacious open concept layout allows you to interact with each other on the main floor. If you want some time to yourself there is another sitting area downstairs.Two full bathrooms was a plus for our group of eight.We loved the screened in patio with the propane fire table. We started and ended our days out there with a cup of coffee or a nightcap.We were in the area to go 4-wheeling. It was so convenient to be able to head out right from the property.We truly enjoyed our stay and we all agreed we would love to go back next year for our annual trip. Just book it.....you won't be sorry.

The home itself was wonderful. My group was there because we thought we had easy water access. The listing led us to believe that was true.. it was not. Also when we attempted to use the table outside with the umbrella there was rodent excrement all over the table and we could not open the umbrella because it was full of excrement as well. When I brought the concerns about water access to the owner they only offered a discount on our next stay. Why would we want to stay again when there is no easy water access. Water access was key. We all drove 3 hours or more to get there for water access. My guess we're not happy.

We absolutely loved this property. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We had plenty of room for all of us and our dogs. Having space for some of us to play games while others watched a movie was great. Our favorite part of the house was the screened in room, especially for rainy days. Our whole family enjoyed taking the trail down to the water to go swimming and kayaking. The owners were very responsive with any questions I had. I appreciated that the owners really care. This was one of the best places we have ever stayed on vacation. We would absolutely love to stay here again!

The house is very beautiful! The dock was a wonderful place to do yoga in the morning! Definitely bring bug spray though. It is a little bit of a steep downhill to the dock so just be aware of who is in your party of people. The kayaks are fun plus! The screened in deck was awesome! We spent a lot of time there. The town is very cute. Good shops and wonderful places to eat. We went into Rockwood and took the ferry to the cliff. We did a 2 1/2 hour hike up the cliff which was really cool and lots of great pictures. We got to see a moose on the way! There is a freestanding fireplace, so again be aware of who is in your party of people. We did not turn it on at all because we had a one year-old who was just learning to walk. It has a grate in front of it, but he is really on the move, so we just kept it off. It was an awesome family vacation with room for everyone, whether they were hanging together or simply having a quiet time reading.
