Skip this uncomfortable & dingy house
I have never left a negative review - But this house is not ready to be a VRBO. It slept a good # of people and it was in the city we were looking for so that’s good. There are parts of the house that are nice (the dining room & living room). But that’s all the good I can say The bedrooms are really horribly uncomfortable. To start - the house is not laid out like in the description. There are no queen beds, only doubles. The twin beds are not in the room together, 1 double and 1 twin is in one room. And one of the twin beds isn’t even a bed - it’s a camping cot ! The beds are slay beds that squeak whenever you even look at them. The pillows are like what you get on an airplane & the sheets are the cheapest, scratchy see-through sheets possible. We had 9 adults in our group and we all slept horribly every night. We were hiking in the national park and just wanted to relax at night & this house made that impossible There was one coffee pot that only makes 1 cup at a time & does that badly. It takes about 5 min / cup. We went to target and bought our own coffee pot so that we could have coffee in the morning. The stove and stovetop don’t work well. It took twice as long as we anticipated to cook anything & one night we gave up & used the microwave The upstarts bathroom has the hot & cold water labels switched. We didn’t have enough towels & the ones we had were stained. It’s needs massive improvements to be comfortable & functional- until then avoid
