Cozy, century home centrally located in a quiet residential area walking distance from quaint, downtown Midland. Peaceful getaway, located minutes away from trails and Georgian Bay. The beauty of nature surrounds you so take in sights of the beaches, marinas, boat cruise of the islands, Wye Marsh, Awenda National Park, farmer's market and stands, local summer festivals, and more. Experience the Georgian Bay area and all it has to offer! The house features 2 bedrooms inside and a sofa bed in the living room for extra space. The 3rd bedroom is located outside as a seasonal cottage, patio suite. You're sure to make fantastic memories with a stay at our place.

This older house is located in the residential neighbourhood of Midland on a very quiet street. We were so grateful the A/C worked wonderfully well during our stay (6 days - note: the exterior room does not have a/c) and we appreciated the 2 washrooms, the large kitchen and the back porch and deck. Walking distance to stores and waterfront, and the backyard attracts birds and wildlife. A perfect base for visiting the surrounding attractions including Ste. Marie among the Hurons, Martyrs Shrine, Discovery Harbour and the wonderful Wye Marsh. Marcia responded quickly to all communications.

Large rustic house could use a little decorating (artwork, plants etc). Very noisy neighbour blasting stereo meant we couldn't sit outside and we could hear the noise in every room in house. Host said neighbours like to play music outside during warm weather, so keep that in mind if coming in summer months. We couldn't watch tv because it only works to cast from your phone, and the wifi kept dropping out. We felt that this was an expensive rental for what you get. Nice location, close to town and awenda park, and host was easy to reach.

As this home is currently being used as a short-term rental, I have left the decorations and furnishings to a minimum on purpose. I feel less is better in this case. If a neighbour wants to occasionally enjoy music outside in their backyard, I have no control over that. The internet service is poor I this area, but I have recently upgraded to a better internet package so it should work better for future guests.

A pleasant home for your stay in Midland. Two bedrooms upstairs. Third bedroom is in converted garage. The kitchen has all your basic needs covered. The beds were comfortable. Walking distance to downtown , the shops and restaurants. Great place for two couples to share.

Midland Cottage

This is a great place for a group of friends to enjoy a weekend away. The beds are comfortable,bathrooms lovely. The kitchen is stocked with the necessities to make your stay easy. I would suggest perhaps some cushions for the outdoor deck area. Thank to Marcia for helping us find everything we needed!

House needs work

This is an old house with two upstairs bedrooms and a third in a detached shed in an unkept yard. Could be nice if the Toronto owner put some money into repairs, upkeep and furnishings.
