The home was within walking distance from restaurants and shops. It had a gorgeous mountain view of the sunrises. The management company always made sure we felt welcome and our needs were met.

Everything was great. Check in process was very easy. Amazing lanai overlooking the golf course. 5 min walk to the ocean. Will definitely consider going back next time I’m on the Big Island. Thx again!

Great location for nearby beaches, groceries, other resorts, and restaurants. The unit was clean and well equipped. The grounds are beautiful. The one glitch was the ice maker was not working, but when told they responded right away bringing us ice.

The condo needs some love. The loveseat and sofa are sagging in the middel and are worn. The head baord in the primarty was not attached and would hit the was when you moved. The pation door does not have a shade and guests in adjacent condo can see in. The freezer was hard to access becase it hits the wall and can't fully open. The toaster need to be replaced as the handle does not go down all the way. There needs to be more pots for cooking. counter space in limited due to the stand alone microwave. The built in micowave was broken. I had to buy a box of facial tissue none were supplied. The pillow for the beds were very uncomfortable and need to be size appropriate for the bed size. These are suggestions for what I would do if I owned the condo. We have stayed at the shores many times and this was the worst. I would not rent again

The worn seating, loose headboard, lack of patio-door privacy, freezer access, toaster, broken built-in microwave, limited cookware and counter space, missing tissues, and uncomfortable pillows all deserve attention. I’ve shared your notes with our operations team so these items can be reviewed and addressed. We appreciate you taking the time to provide specific suggestions.

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed this VRBO. Location is great for walking to the King & Queens shops where you can shop, get coffee, grocery store, and ice cream. Also walkable to the beach where you can see turtles, and a handful of restaurants. Condo was clean and had everything we needed right down to beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler, and beach towels. The host provided great starters for coffee, laundry detergent, garbage bags and shower stuff. Ample room with the 2 bedrooms & 2 bath. Beautiful lanai to drink coffee and enjoy a quiet morning and entertaining in the evening. Would definitely stay again. Hosts were quick to respond and very helpful.

Great condo on the Big Island

Very clean two bedrooom condo, lots of room for four adults, great location. Master bedroom bed was very firm, no problem running the clothes washer and dryer. Nice view of the sunrise from the lanai.

Beautiful grounds, great area, tired condo

Location was great. The grounds were beautiful but the condo itself was a bit tired. Gorgeous outdoor porch w sink but no bbq except by the pool. Good size place tho. Didn’t love looking out on the large garbage container

Inaccurate Condo Listing

There are several options to rent from during a stay on the Big Island - we chose this location to be away from the "hustle and bustle" of downtown Kona, the spacious lanai, and the convenience of a pool as we were going to be working remotely during our stay. The pool was closed for maintenance 5 out of 7 days while we were there. We brought this to the property management's attention, Grand Welcome, and the customer service representative, Iris, was interruptive and raised her voice several times. Her response was that the pool was managed by a different company so there was nothing that they could do. She repeated this multiple times. There was no communication between the property owners and the management company and no discussion of the scheduled pool closure with us. It took 3 days to get a response from Grand Welcome after numerous calls to the customer service line. They reimbursed us $300 after confirming that the pool was indeed closed. Overall, we would not choose to stay at this condo again due to the mismanagement and possible misrepresentation of the property.

Great location! The place was very clean, and we loved sitting on the deck every morning to have coffee/tea. Wonderful development! The place was very spacious. The pool was great! The host is updating the map as it was a little off - so don't give up if you're driving around.

Worst bed I've ever slept on

This condo was very clean and well equipped. The only problems I had was with the bed and the refrigerator. First the bed needs to be replaced. It sagged. Had trouble getting a good night's sleep. Next the refrigerator freezer door would not open wide enough to pull out the ice cube bin in order to dump the ice in the cooler for our trips. The wall hinders opening the freezer door completely. Other than these two problems the condo was great. Loved the walk-in showers. Great washer and dryer (front loading). Outside of the refrigerator problem the kitchen was well equipped. The location of the unit was great. We were able to walk to the Hilton and the King Shops. Cooler and beach chairs were provided and were a big plus on our excursions.
