Beautiful Home

This is truly a beautiful home! It is very clean and comfortable. The location is perfect! Close private beach access, stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and AC worked very well. Having the elevator was very helpful. We had 12 people and there was ample seating for sit down dinners. We also enjoyed the games provided. The container of toothbrushes and razors in the 2 en-suite bathrooms was a nice touch. We had a great time! We would definitely stay here again.

Surf City Gem!!

We stayed in this house June 2025 and loved every bit of it. AC was great, bathrooms were clean and fully stocked, Kitchen was perfect, view was amazing!! Close access to the private beach. I loved the car ports under the house and outside shower to rinse off before re-entering. Very well taken care of property! Hope to return soon.

Wonderful stay for our group

We absolutely loved our stay. We were in town for our wedding and used this place for our bridal party to stay at. It had close beach access and plenty of amenities in the house. There were ample parking spots for multiple people driving from various locations. Often times, beach rentals only provide 2 or 3 spots. Not 6. Great views and a comfortable set up. Everything you could need was located in the kitchen. We did have to reach out to guest services as there was no hand soap or garbage bags present in the unit, but they were quick to remedy the issue. Would definitely recommend.

Poorly Maintained and Not Worth the Price — A Letdown for a Special Occasion

I rented this property through Vacasa to celebrate my retirement from the U.S. Marine Corps with family and friends — a meaningful occasion that deserved a quality experience. Unfortunately, the home and management fell short in multiple ways. When we arrived, the outdoor trash bins were completely full from previous guests — and infested with maggots. Inside, there were no basic cleaning supplies at all: no dish soap, no paper towels, no disinfectant. For the price and the platform, this was a major letdown. There was no welcome book or guest guide, which made using the in-home elevator difficult. It requires very specific steps to operate — and without instructions, it was frustrating to use. The outdoor grill was essentially unusable, with only one functioning burner — so we couldn’t cook as planned. And to top it off, the second-floor thermostat was locked in heat mode, and we had no way to adjust it. This made parts of the house uncomfortably hot for the duration of our stay. There’s nothing particularly special about the home to make up for these issues. Vacasa really needs to improve the upkeep and guest readiness of this property. I wouldn’t recommend it for a vacation — and certainly not for any kind of special event.
