Travel Distance: The distances to town and grocery stores are typically well-received due to the peaceful setting and scenic view the property provides. Nevertheless, these logistics can sometimes vary based on personal expectations. Cookware and Stove: I appreciate your feedback on the cookware and stove. We'll certainly review this to ensure our guests have a comfortable cooking experience. Hot Tubs: Regarding the hot tubs, One of the hot tubs was always working as we discussed and unfortunately the other one had a broken heating element. Amenities: We do not stock items such as salt, pepper, sugar, or spices to avoid potential allergens or contamination which can become a liability. We recommend guests bring their preferred condiments to enhance their culinary experience during their stay. This was not listed as items we provide in the listing as well. Regarding your check-in experience — I did not receive a text or call about this incident and was surprised to see your review, so I reached out to the cleaning crew immediately. I want to clarify that no maintenance or repair work was scheduled, and no one from our team was sent to fix the dishwasher. The previous guest had left the property in a more filthy condition than usual, and the cleaners needed extra time to complete their work. They were simply waiting for the dishwasher to finish its cycle so they could place the clean dishes back into the cabinets when you arrived. Unfortunately, this happened close to your check-in time, leaving us little opportunity to notify you and likely causing the confusion. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and understand how this situation could have felt unexpected. To help prevent any overlap in the future, we’ve extended our check-in time to 4:00 PM to give our team more time to finish all tasks before guests arrive.
