Disappointed with very old EVERYTHING

Everything needs to be updated our door was horrible it was so old and the wood was so worn the latch would barely stay on! It was so horrible we actually took pictures, the ceilings had several water damaged spots, some of the dishes were not clean, the kitchen sink covering was peeling and I cannot believe that I spent $2,500 on this dump! The view & location was amazing but that was all I was happy with and this is the disadvantage of staying with VRBO and a reputable hotel because I know that I would have gotten a voucher or some money back for my disappointment but now I'm just out of money and I won't be able to travel again for 2 more years😭😭😭

We’ve rented other units in Seabreeze that are far superior. The cost of this unit is comparable to the other units but the quality is much lower.The Seabreeze complex itself is still very well maintained and we enjoy staying there.

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed on Madeira Beach for a number of years, and this propert was the most worn out one yet - wind blows through front door, kitchen counter laminate coming off, refrigerator sounds like a truck, water stains on ceiling, and the bed felt more like a hammock than a mattress. The property's saving grace is the pool and hot tub - the best! Only complaint on cleanliness was the floors which had a sticky residue - had to get on hands and knees to wipe all floors with a wet towel. Residue probably left from cleaning crew mop bucket.

Reviewer Comments: This property is Bronze level,however is shaby and at the bottom of the barrel. It badly needs renovating. Listing photos are very misleading. Cupboards are chipped and beat up, vents are dirty and rusted, floors make feet black if going barefoot. Just a coat of paint would be a big help!! Living room furniture is very uncomfortable. Only one elevator, which is slow and undependable. Building in general shows age. Only good factors were location, good hot tub and pool, plus decent king bed. Find another location asap!

Reviewer Comments: Not a habit of complaints regarding condo units that I usually rent after having read the description, pictures and rating. This unit rated BRONZE, but far from being rated Bronze, should be at the bottom of the rate list. The front door handle is loose, not much of a security lock, the shower heads need replacing, there is a tiny 2 slice toaster without the knob, there are plenty of small forks & spoons but a few adult utensils, needed to wash after every meal for the next meal, the living room sofas old and disgusting that caved in the middle when sitting on them, and most of the crockery, utensils in kitchen cabinets & pantry in complete disorder. This unit does not live up to the pictures & rating.

Good value!

We had a great one-week stay with our 2 and 5 year old. The unit was listed as budget-friendly and that's what it was. The condo itself could use a few upgrades. The kids beds were not comfortable and the unit could use a deep cleaning. Other than that, nothing that was a deal breaker. The building itself is close to a 7 Eleven which was convenient. Walking distance to John's Pass with plenty of restaurants and fun things for the kids. The beach was amazing and the kids loved the pool. There is only one elevator and it is very slow.

A much needed update and painting

Fortunately, the bed was comfortable and the view from the balcony was great. Because that's all 602 has going for it. The place needs a complete overall painting and update. The furniture was old and decrepit. Which made a fairly clean place seem dirty, which it wasn't, but we used paper plates etc. anyway instead of what was there. Sea Breeze itself needs updated. The pool is too small for such a large building, we never found a spot to sit or sun by the pool. Plus only 1 elevator was kind of a joke. Even some of the regulars commented about it's speed or lack thereof. On the plus side, management was quick to respond and help us when we had problems figuring out the Television.

Captiva cancelled

Due to Ian we had to reschedule to another area. We read the online reviews and the unit is dated. However we were able to walk to Johns Pass and restaurants. The location is fabulous and so are the views. No beach towels so bring your own. They did however have chairs to bring to the beach. The chairs and table on balcony are not at all comfortable. But we did see the pics!

Man kann viele Dinge sehr schnell erledigen zentral gelegen,am schõnsten ist das unkomplizierte schnelle schwimmen im Golf. Abends zu Fuss zum John"s Pass in die Bamboo Bar. Am næchsten Tag Sightseeing Tour.ein wundervoller Ort.

Great location, but could use some much needed renovations & a good cleaning

You can't beat this location! RIGHT on the beach, with a pool, & walking distance to John's Pass. But, it could use some renovations - mainly the kitchen (just everything) & the bathrooms could use a little updating. No carpet (which is great!) but the floors had some sand on it when we first got there & they felt a little sticky, like they needed a good mopping. And the furniture needed dusting. I specifically asked prior to confirming a reservation if all the TV's worked. They said yes, but only the main TV has streaming options & the guest room TV had no remote so it could not be used at all. Management made an appt for Spectrum to come "fix" the TV but said we had to be there for them to come & sign when they left. I'm not signing for services on a place I don't own, so we cancelled & just took turns with the main TV. Still a good place to stay, it just needs a little tweaking. Management was super nice at check-in & when we called about the TV's.

The living room furniture was apparently for looks because it sat low and seemed older. There were no washer/dryers in unit. The kitchen was outdated with old cabinets look like from the 90’s...I’ve rented from JC Resorts before and was highly unsatisfied with this condo!
