This complex is on a very busy street a couple of blocks from town center. This particular unit faces the street and the few trees off of the patio do little to make the view better. The pictures are misleading; there is no view and I certainly did not want to sit on patio that is 10 feet from the parking lot. However, the WORST part was the industrial construction noise coming from the HUGE structure/complex being built across the street. I wish I could add a video of how loud the beeping and grinding sounds were sitting INSIDE the apartment. And because there is no A/C in the unit, you have to leave the windows open, making the noise even worse. I get that the property cannot control construction that is not on the property, but it was intolerable. Even without the construction noise, the condo left much to be desired. The mattress was terrible, the couch rock hard, and no extra pillows or blankets for the sleeper sofa. We only stayed one night and had the Thunder Mountain front desk switch us to a different unit. I was very disappointed overall. My sister stayed in one of the townhomes in the complex and it was extremely nice. If you plan to rent in the Thunder Mountain complex, I suggest you look at a map of the property and choose something that doesn’t look out on the street.
