Great condo for a family of 4

Nice condo with all the necessary amenities. Location and views were superb. It was great to also have a heated outdoor pool on property. We would stay here again!

Relief from the heat

Escaped the Great Plains heat to spend a weekend in the mountains! Excellent property! Perfect location. We will look to rent this spot next time in Breck!

Great spot to enjoy all that Breckinridge has to offer!

Beautiful space, great location, and easy to deal with management. We loved this place. It fit 4 adults perfectly and we would love to come back!

GREAT location!!

We loved the location and accommodations!! The condo was perfect for my husband and I and our daughter and boyfriend to serve as "home base" while we explored the area. We did take advantage of the partner property to go and bowl, and really enjoyed that. There was some really annoying construction noise during 2 days of our stay. We understand that work must go on, but it would have been nice to know to expect that and during what hours. We would definitely return if our travels bring us back to Breckenridge!

Great Stay in Breckenridge

The location was perfect close to Town with a Shuttle to the mountain that made our stay easy and convenient. The property was also very nice and the amenities at Mountain Thunder Lodge are fantastic. Check in and out was very easy and communication was great.

We had a comfortable stay and the property was very clean. Only downsides were a tricky dishwasher and no in-room laundry. Parking under the building was a great convenience. Access to the slopes were about as good as one can get in Breckenridge.

Nice place, pictures are spot on

We had a pleasant stay. Very spacious and clean. Location was reasonably close to Main Street, which was ideal for a summer rental. It was a little weird that we were a VRBO unit inside a larger complex, but Ski Colorado made it a point to reach out before and during stay and is located fairly close to the rental unit. Overall this was a positive experience.

Very nice location

The place was very clean. We loved the location. Super easy walk to Main Street. We never had to use the shuttle. We spent an afternoon at the pool across the street. It was beautiful and had everything you could need. Only suggestion I would make is they could use new bedding. Think that would go a long way in bringing it up a notch for sure. Would stay here again!

Great location and nice room! Plenty of space for family of four. Beautiful view!

Overall experience was great. Shuttle service to town and indoor pool was so convenient. Easy to walk to town using tunnel under road. Humidifiers provided in each room were a necessity. Use of One Ski Hill Place was great but wish we had more information about it's amenities upon arrival. You can bowl there too but need to reserve. The condo was clean and a good start of supplies (trash bags, paper towels, etc). Would recommend!

Nice property. Perfect location

We love Mountain Thunder. The property was in pristine condition. Rental company was nice on the phone ahead of visit. Has strict no contact policy ahead of check in time. Had a mix-up on our check out date and Initially called and told us we would need to get our things out of the condo immediately. They eventually realized the error but this did add much stress to our visit

Enjoyed our stay

The condo met our needs and was a pleasant experience. It has a pretty view and comfortable. It is a bit of journey to the gondola in ski boots, but the shuttle was very quick and easy to use. I like to have a few throws in the living room for coziness and there were none, but perhaps that is just me. Also, 2 hair dryers did not work and the last day I found a third one but it was too late at that point. Property Management was responsive to questions. All and all I was happy with the stay.

Well maintained, clean, quiet

We planned a last minute trip to the mountains for the weekend to enjoy the last of the fall leaves. The unit we stayed in was well maintained, clean and quiet. MTL was right next to a path that allowed for a short and easy hike with our 2 small children. The onsite pool was outdoors so not ideal in colder weather for 2 littles but we had access to the indoor pool at One Ski Hill which was just a short bus ride away. MTL was also located conveniently to the gondola (not running at the time of our visit) and was walking distance to main street. Overall, the unit was perfect for our family of 4 and was great for a quick weekend trip but would have suited us for a week long stay as well.

Love Mountain Thunder!

Mountain Thunder is one of our favorite places to stay at Breck! We love the location and the property amenities. The condo was nice and comfortable. The master bedroom mattress is very mushy and is probably ready to be replaced. Nothing wrong with Ski Colorado, but it should be noted that when you rent through them (VRBO) you don't get access to the concierge services at the Lodge. For example, they can't make you an extra key or let you in, or provide extra towels. It wasn't a big deal but I wish that were clear when we were booking. Also, note that there is no laundry in the unit (there is one on the floor).

Magical and Relaxing Accomodation.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Mountain Thunder Lodge Apartment. The view from the apartment was magical and the location was perfect. We were within walking distance of the Breck Express chairlift (free) and the main street. If we needed to go anywhere that we didn't want to walk we could call a complimentary shuttle bus that was door to door. The outdoor pool and spas (two spa locations in the complex) were awesome, we could also access the indoor pool facilities at another location that were excellent. The apartment is clean, well-maintained and extremely comfortable, it has a very well-stocked, modern kitchen with all the bells and whistles. It was very easy to collect the key and I had no problems contacting guest services, who were extremely helpful when I had an enquiry. I highly recommend this apartment for a fun, relaxing and enjoyable stay for families, couples or singles at any time of the year.
