Consider this fully renovated 1950s cottage as your home away from home! This fabulous property features 2 bedrooms, including a cozy queen bed and a comfortable queen coil spring futon, 2 full bathrooms , a fully equipped kitchen and laundry, with a grill on the deck! Guests can unwind in style!! Enjoying all of the pleasant amenities of home! There is a small creek along the back of the property with a fire pit and seating. With 3 other cozy outdoor living areas! Conveniently located to a pay lake! Covered parking available.
Down town Spencer is just a short drive, with several local destinations, such as Main Street Coffee, Civilian Brewery, Hiking at McCormick's creek State park or Greens Bluff nature Preserve, Finish your day with a glass of wine and a dessert at Owen Valley Winery! We look forward to hosting you at our retreat home! One exterior security camera is located on the barn for your safety. A photo of the camera view is in the pictures of the home ...As well the property is 25 mins south of I-70 and 20 mins west of Bloomington. Perfect base station to explore beautiful southern Indiana and surrounding areas!

A Home Away from Home! Todd and Sherry were remarkable hosts, with exceptional communication before, during and after our stay. With family nearby hosting Christmas, my husband, son and I chose to stay at this hidden gem rather than stay at a hotel. If you're looking for a place in the area, stop looking - the Artesian Spring House is it! This spacious property has amazing energy and is easy to access. The interior aesthetic is wonderful and is stocked with everything you need. Looking forward to our next stay!

Wonderful place to stay, clean, everything as advertised. Directions clear, communication excellent, worth the trip , and we didn’t have time to enjoy the outside. Definitely coming back!!! Great hosts.

Definitely a cozy get away. The house was clean and tidy. There were plenty of towels/wash rags/etc. as well as a good assortment of cookware and silverware.The property around the house was also well kept. We enjoyed having a fire in the fire pit and listening to the nighttime insects.

The cottage was perfect for our need. The interior was very neat, clean and comfortable. The decoration was very well done. The exterior had nice porches, a fire pit near a small stream and a separate shaded conversation area. Checking in was very easy because the property manager communicated by text before and during the stay. The pictures shown in the ad were exact and up to date. All in all, we were pleased with the quality and and value of the rental.

Peaceful location in the country just minutes from Spencer. House has been renovated and it's clear the owners take pride in it. Lots of interesting features in decor and lots of beautiful wood. Owners made themselves available for any questions we had. Owner even stopped by to make sure we had access to basement if needed because possible severe weather was headed our way. We plan to stay there next year when our family reunion rolls around again.

We loved our stay at this house. The house itself was extremely clean and comfortable and a great place to relax. There is a nice fire pit area by a running creek which adds a great ambience. 5 mins away is food/ groceries. The owner did a great job in proactively reaching out with instructions and would quickly answer any question we had. We would definitely stay here again when we come to Spencer/ Bloomington.

Amazing!

My husband and I used this place as our stay after our wedding night at Abram Event Venue. It is only a 7 minute drive and it was nice to have all of our loved ones stay at the canyon inn and us have our own place to escape to. The house is stunning! The style is adorable, it’s super clean. We bed was so comfortable! The keypad entry was so convenient for us because we weren’t obligated to be there by a certain time. Checkout by 12 was also amazing so we could sleep in after our long day previously. I would definitely stay here again!
