Serene getaway in the woods

This is the most amazing place! Secluded and quiet - it's the perfect place to relax and unwind. This place has everything you need for a perfect week or weekend retreat. Close to many nature trails and the beautiful University of the South. You can do a lot or nothing at all. We will definitely be back!

Great cabin in great location!

We had a nice vacation staying at the tucked inn. It is very close to lots of good hiking spots as well as a few good eateries. The cabin was updated, had decent beds and lots of room to spread out! The outside area is well equipped with the hot tub, fire pit, and walking areas. Owners were pleasant and responsive. I would stay here again!

Great hist and great property.

Great hosts and a great cabin. Super friendly to deal with. Easy check in. This is much more than a cabin as there is as much to enjoy outside the cabin as inside. We have stayed there several times and the place never disappoints. We’ll always come back! Thanks guys!

Another fantastic stay

We’ve rented this place 5-6 times, it’s a wonderful place that is close to where our daughter attended college. Cozy, but perfect for 2-4 people…as there are wraparound porches that increase the cabin’s footprint by nearly 40%. Very private & safe property not far off I-24, the owners live nearby but we’ve never had a reason to call.

I have lived in Tennessee all of my life. I grew up in a rural town south of Murfreesboro, Tn. I worked as an educator for 37 years and recently retired. I now work as Master Clinician in the Department of Education at Middle Tennessee State University. The place we call "home is located in Murfreesboro, TN. Our second home and favorite home is "Tucked Inn".

After several years of walking the family property, visiting other cabins, and researching cabin plans Terry and I made the decision to build a cabin of our own. Terry is a homebuilder, so we built "Tucked Inn" from the ground up!
It was truly a labor of love and we are happy that we are able to share this little piece of heaven with others.

As you enter the property, you will get a good idea as to how the name "Tucked Inn" came about. It is truly tucked in among a beautiful forest of trees, plants, and wildlife. Porches containing swings, rocking chairs, and tables and chairs for dining surround the house. An upstairs sunroom is surrounded by large windows to give a birds eye view of the trees below as well as a cool breeze during the summer months. A cozy garden cottage is located near the cabin. It's a great place to just hang out or catch a nap. Tucked Inn was featured in the 2015 edition of Cabins & Cottages which included plans and photos of over 100 cabins and vacation homes throughout the US.
