This home is in such a beautiful spot with amazing views of the water. The homeowners were on-site to greet us upon arrival and were very pleasant and accommodating. It is apparent that they take pride in their residence. The VRBO description was accurate and as described. The indoor and outdoor living spaces were very comfortable and the kitchen was well-equpped.

Great house

My wife really appreciated Lorraine meeting her when she arrived at the house. House is in a great location . Was very clean and well decorated. Really loved the outdoor space and did have opportunity to use the kayaks.

Perfect Getaway

Beautiful inside and out

This attractively decorated house offered so many comfortable group seating and dining locations that it was hard to choose -- and the views from any of those were lovely. Photographs can't do this property justice. The kitchen was very well equipped. And the neighborhood was friendly; we felt welcome on our walks.

Lovely spot

Great for a weekend getaway! Amazing waterfront location with beautiful views (except for the neighbor’s garage) and comfortable amenities provided by thoughtful hosts. My only issues were with the densely crowded neighborhood (no sense of privacy) and a rather cluttered decor, but neither is a dealbreaker. It’s a very nice, well thought-out home, and we had a good time enjoying the space, kayaking, and swimming nearby.

Summer retreat!

Branford’s shoreline is a hidden gem. And this house is ideally located at the very end of the quite dead end street with incredible views of the sound. The deck is the perfect spot for evening happy hour and sunset watching. The inside of the house is beautifully decorated and well appointed. The hosts could not have been nicer. They communicated well leading up to our visit and greeted us upon our arrival. We enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding during our stay. Thank you for this wonderful summer retreat! Dave and Wanda.

Restful

We were looking for a place for some quiet R&R and this was perfect. Pleasant neighborhood, beautiful water view. Nice small local beach about 10 minutes away. Very good restaurants. It was very easy to communicate with our hostess. Lorraine could not have been more helpful. She has a lovely home that is very inviting.

Surrounded by water

Beautiful spot on the shore, surrounded by the ocean, and small tidal canal and salt water pond. Excellent CT swimming nearby. The house itself was clean, comfortably air conditioned, and has a very comfortable sunroom with amazing views. We had a wonderful time.

the house is lovely, beautifully and conveniently located and set up for reading and lounging around with wonderful view. We enjoyed swimming in the sound and we enjoyed the little neighborhood in this rather special cul de sac. The outdoor shower was without a doubt the best I knew so far. We look forward to next time.

Hidden Gem!

Beautiful home sourounded by water, the pictures do not do justice to the view you have. The home is dectorated wonderfully and recently renovated. Could not ask for a better place to stay. Owners were very nice and a pleasure to deal with. We will be back!

Above Expectation

Our experience with renting homes for decades is numerous, but this home takes top spot on the list. It has all the comforts of home with a view that takes your breath away. The amenities are plentiful along with kayaks, grill and lots of outdoor space for our granddaughters to play. We will undoubtably rent this beautiful home again!

Perfect Ending is All That!

The weekend was as perfect as it looked from the pictures. We really enjoyed the views from every window and the kids enjoyed watching the tides come in and out. Lorraine and Bill have a beautiful home that they have refurbished with love and warmth. It was also so well stocked and comfortable and relaxing. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Bill and I are both retired. I should say I'm retired and Bill is semi retired. He is a developer and is building homes in a development. I am doing volunteering and in the process of starting a Decorating Business. We try to do a lot of traveling and therefore we are able to rent our home.

While driving around looking for a place to rent, we came upon this cottage the had a for sale sign lying down on the grass. When we picked it up and saw that it was for sale we immediately did some research. That was the start of our buying this amazing home surrounded by water.

Amazing picturesque Views seen from every room in the house which is surrounded by water.
During the winter months our home is available to rent from January thru April for a month at a time
