Great Location

The house was a perfect place to stay with friends. It was quick and easy to get to the main strip, the winery, and the caves.

Fun time

Put-n-bay is full of may flies, if you're afraid of bugs, this just isn't the island for you. Expect to see them on the house, on the windows, and occasionally making their way into the house. House was huge, clean sheets towels/wash cloths, etc. Great location with owners who are easy to communicate, highly recommend!

First time to Put In Bay

Charming farmhouse on the main road into town, not far from anything. Four good sized bedrooms, two baths, nice dining room table and space. The kitchen was a good size, but lacked some items I would consider requirements, a decent pan that doesn’t have the Teflon all scratched, a pot big enough for pasta or grits, coffee cups ( there were none), kitchen towels and dish cloths, and the fridge froze my pasta salads, yuck. If we are to rent this place again next year, I would bring my own sheets, towels, pillows, and quilts. Those supplied were adequate, but not up to my standards for a week. The pillows and beds were terrible. Nobody slept well, which resulted in much grumpiness. Somebody might want to check the downstairs bed for bugs, my husband and I had quite a few bites, it happens. :) The deck was the best part with a very nice grill. We enjoyed the front porch to watch the golf carts full of happy people pass by, but the house was set far enough back it felt very private, along with the cool airplanes at the airport. May-be next year one of us will get brave and go up in air. ;) The weather was beautiful, the town and island were great fun, and we enjoyed our first stay.

Memorial Day Weekend 2019

We came across several issues during our stay. The combo to get the key out of the lock was incorrect. Thank goodness for the neighbor who came to help us into the home with the correct combination! The home advertised there being air conditioning and most of us were extremely uncomfortable while sleeping when we could not figure out how to turn it on. We contacted the landlord who said "Let me check into it" and nothing was done. It would have been bearable if there was some airflow from the windows, but there were no screens to keep the bugs out. In addition, there was no hot water to take a shower or even wash the dishes. This was our second time staying in this home, we do not remember such a hard time the first time we stayed about 5 years ago. Needless to say, we will probably not return.

Great sized house for a large group

The house is a great size with an awesome deck off the back with tons of chairs available for everyone. We loved coming back, cooking on the gas grill and starting a fire in the fire pit. The beds were not very comfortable, but who really does much sleeping in PIB? As a group we decided that we would stay here again if we needed a big place!

Great location but the bugs were a big problem

Between myself and sister, we have rented this house 6 times and even though there have always been bugs around the house, this stay they were a huge issue. So much so that our friends could not even sleep upstairs because there were bugs everywhere. No windows were open and we kept the door shut the whole time unless coming in and out. The house is perfect for a large party but we were very disgusted with the amount of bugs that made their way in the house. Very disappointed this stay

Great location, great price

We had a long family weekend with 9 of us staying here and it was wonderful! Great location, very quiet but easy access to anywhere on the island. The property was beautiful too and the kids really enjoyed the big yard. We would definitely stay here again, but just to know before you go the house is not well stocked with paper products or soap, so maybe pack some with you. It was a very affordable spacious place to spend a few days!

Great location. House outdated

The house was in a great location to everything and down the road from golf cart rental. Had a nice new grill which allowed us to grill out. Also had a very nice quite yard. The inside of the house was out dated and somewhat dirty. That was manageable. However as we were cleaning on the last day we found a dead rat that was dead that seemed to be electrocuted to the outlet that had been there for quite some time. There were also mouse turds in and around the kitchen .

Good place to relax
