We heard you enjoyed the Cottage and the the last message we received on our platform here was that every thing was great and thank you. We on hand have taken a get it better approach to reviews and have added a mini split and updated this location with now a King bed and faster internet along with a few other updates and we are adding on to our other cottages a extra kitchen, bathroom that is handicap helpful along with a breezeway to make a new update and also suggest our other locaiton the Sunshine Tikki house even better. I forgot to include a seperate hot tub on the private side of the house which is at the end of the culdesac. We also added more kayaks, canoes and float rafts. So please kindly accept a discount of $50 as our return gesture for your crew and if you have any issues be sure to message us on the group check in text as we have team members to help you with anything to include starting your campfire ! We look forward to your return let your friends and family know they can help you earn a discount and they get a discount of $50 when booking using your name for our guests. The condition of the property upon our arrival was unacceptable, unsanitary, and did not match the expectations set by the listing.Our group of six arrived at the property, unloaded our belongings, and began walking through the home. We understood from the host that any concerns needed to be reported within the first hour of arrival, so we immediately inspected the property.Within minutes, we discovered numerous serious issues, including:* One of the advertised beds was not a mattress at all, but an air mattress placed on a twin bed frame. This was never disclosed in the listing and was completely misleading.* Mouse feces were present under the kitchen sink.* There were pubic hairs and urine on one of the toilets, indicating the bathroom had not been properly cleaned.* The home was extremely dirty throughout, with conditions that made it unsafe and unsanitary for our group to occupy.These conditions were unacceptable and made the property unfit for our stay. We immediately contacted the host and informed him that we would not be checking in because the home was not in a habitable condition.The host came to the property shortly afterward and apologized, explaining that he had been short-staffed. While we appreciate his honesty, staffing issues do not excuse renting a property that is not clean, sanitary, or accurately represe

Old cabin that needs work

This home would be good for a family or group to stay at over the summer if they don’t care about it being very nice. This is an old lake cabin that had a new but low end floor installed. No regular furnace, just a mini split on one side of the home. The bedroom was heated with a portable heater and wasn’t even running when we got there. Bathroom was small and under construction. Home was not filthy but not super clean either. Thinking whoever owns it should hire the cleaning out as it was lacking. Hot tub was not convenient to get to in the winter and didn’t have much privacy being shared between multiple homes. Beds, pillows and sheets were old but did appear to be washed.Only thing that was good with this place is the owner was quick to respond to issues.

We always respond to the messages quick as we have a crew and the manager and owner on the messages. We had other options if you did not like items we are always at your finger tips and we did not hear from you. But I completly under stand as your message said your just using it to stay with a grab bag for a Christmas party. You can count on us to be open and have a running hot tub ready to climb into even in the middle of January. I would hope you enjoyed the tub and maybe can visit again and the tub does a have privacy screens on all points of the sides and open to the lake but you just need to slide them shut if you want more privacy. There is a brand new mini split that heats up very quick and does a nice job just set the temp and if you want it preheated message us on your arrival time other wise like most locations its set to 65 degrees. We would even build a fire for ya if ya ask as we also have free firewood. We look forward to your return and have brand new places like our 4 story but they cost a few more bucks than this selection as its a cottage. See ya again have a great year! Team 4rentus

Lake house fun

Our party had a range of age groups from young children, teens to adults. We had plenty of beds and space to all enjoy ourselves. The time spent together will forever be cherished. I would make sure any future renters are aware that there may be other renters using the lower level and that using the large swim spa must be scheduled. Also the large swim spa was never over 90 degrees. Once on property contacting the host was easy and efficient, prior to arrival it was difficult to communicate and get questions answered. We were also surprised to find out about extra covid cleaning charges for linens that was not clearly defined in the listing. Over all we had a great time and would recommend for a fun gathering with plenty of amenities and a beautiful lake.

Very friendly, nice clean place with everything I needed! Great location, beautiful lakefront view on a quiet cul-de-sac, yet only 10 minutes from the Grand Rapids airport. Everything I had hoped for and more!

House Adequate But Won't Work With Owner Again

Rate was advertised for all four levels. Paid the bill for what was thought to be for all four floors, but got another bill four days before family event to rent the fourth floor. With everyone committed to coming, paid the bill. With three levels of stairs and decks outside, the stairs were shaky and everyone figured out not to lean on the railings. A real safety hazard. Rented the pontoon boat. Unreliable in starting, none of the gauges worked, found a battery connection loose, found a sea of black tape holding wires together, duct tape used on engine, steering wheel not securely fastened, nomenclature for switch functions worn off, and all seats shredded. After finally getting engine to start one time, gave up when it didn't start a second time. Still arguing with owner to get my money back on the boat. He spent more time trying to figure out what I was doing wrong then getting us on the water. I have 40 years of boating experience.

Bob.....really You booked the upper 3 levels this is the listing your writing the review for on the stay. How silly ? I have your text requesting to add the lower level as I offered it the day you booked as I do to all my guests at a discounted rate of $455 and that's on the water....... Here is your text verbatim." Please add the lower level. We have one additional person coming. He is a baby. We will be arriving 4:30 - 5:00pm. I tried to rent the pontoon boat on the web site provided, but it would not Complete the Request. It would not accept that I checked the box that I agreed to the rental policies and terms.... " And you used the pontoon boat and never texted any problems, I have mechanics for any issues and told you it's a well used pontoon not new and the rate is very reasonable as opposed to Gun lake rental that charges $250 just to deliver and then wants $450 per day 3 day minimum. My cleaner and 80 year old aunt said you used it and there was gas gone from your use. Its abused as people sit on it and use it but it runs. I'm only charging you for the day you held it and used it and I let you use it a day early and did not charge for the fuel you burned up. We have a group text for anything you have issues with. We have a team that takes care of any issues the cleaner lives 2 doors down and I have fix it guys and mechanics that can do it all,as we have a limo service also to get you around DADDS MAGIC bus and LIMOUSINE and Dezzirides app with great venues on the app for special places to visit and get deals. We have just added a swim spa, 25k plus install, added a volleyball net and 20 yards if sand and 2 new docks, 2 -8 burner gas grills, 3 -50 inch plasmas. We have direct TV and cable and a jacuzzi, hot tub and 2 tikki bars and much more.... If you cant find one good thing to write about this place....your the one that I just cant please. So sorry about your stay, we will look at any loose rails, and wish you could of used the group text as you did for check in for quick reply Your welcome to visit our other 50 locations with places much nicer and some alot less in amenities. Most dont have any kind of boat and none let you use them for free. Btw I did not charge for the gas that was used for a boat that was not worth using, the guts had to fuel We try to be fair and tell people it's not a new boat and was nice when we started renting it....but we are not buying a new one again it runs great and is well worn so if you rent it just understand

We have a great place with multiple levels and just minutes from Grand Rapids Airport, we offer everything you could imagine for your group.
Kids and parents will find plenty of space to enjoy and be close or far apart.
Multiple levels and direct tv and cable with plenty of Wi-Fi and Xbox games and outside fun! Parking is not a problem as we have a full lot across the street including spots in the driveway.
