The house appears “worn”. It needs a deep cleaning and definitely some paint. The areas rugs are worn out and dirty. The front door won’t lock unless you lift up the left door to line it up. We have been staying in VRBO homes for 15 years in this area and this is the first house that had such bare cupboards. Not even a sugar packet. Yes, there were dishes and pans and silverware like at all the other homes but there is usually a few non perishable items like sugar. The dryer was broken which we reported on Monday. A repair man came on Friday and it couldn’t be fixed. That meant we left with a suitcase of dirty clothes. The owner did email us that this was beyond his control and he apologized but offered no compensation for this inconvenience. I would not recommend staying at this house. There are many others that will be more accommodating

Great Vacation

Great vacation. The residence had lots of room for 6 adults. It is in a quiet neighborhood with a short walk to the north and south community lakes with walking paths all around. Great morning walk.

Nice place, very spacious.

My family and I (7 adults) stayed here for the weekend to attend a near by rodeo. It was a great place with ample space and seating as well as plenty of sleeping accommodations. Nice neighborhood and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay

5-Star Review:This Goodyear VRBO was everything we hoped for and more! The outdoor space was absolutely fantastic—perfect for lounging and chilling out with a beautiful pool, bar, and hot tub. We spent hours relaxing outside! The location couldn’t have been better—just 30 minutes from everything in the Phoenix area, making day trips a breeze. We also loved the walking path right nearby—it was a perfect, peaceful 3-mile loop that we enjoyed every day. The neighborhood was super clean and quiet, and the house itself was spotless and very comfortable. We’d definitely stay here again!

Perfect place! Nice neighborhood, great set up, very comfortable. Wonderful place to walk around the lakes. The nearby park has pickleball and basketball. Everything you need is right here. Highly recommend.

Great week. House wasnt as spacious as the pictures. Wide angle lenses are decieving. It was big enough for 6 adults and 1child. Only thing was house wasnt cool enough couldnt set it past 78, considering it was well over 100 outside. Pool was fabulous!! Spent most of our time in the backyard but would suggest putting a few ceiling fans out there above the dining area. Flies were bad. Overall a good stay and would stay there sgain.

Great home

House was great for us. Family of six adults and this house worked out well. Backyard definitely the best part. Pool, hot tub, fire pit and grill area with tv. Paid extra for the pool to be heated (575 plus for the week) but thankful we did or it would have definitely unusable. The walking/biking path that is about two blocks away is stunning!! Simply beautiful! Another plus we met the next door and he was so nice! Just another plus- the neighborhood. Jeff- homeowner did contact me during our stay after he noticed we had adjusted the thermostat- which I thought was a bit strange but he was very nice about it. We did have a couple days of very very low water pressure- not at all great for showers and still not sure what the cause was for that- but I did let the homeowner know as well. House could have been a tad cleaner- baseboards,Kitchen cabinets and drawers a bit dirty. But that aside, we enjoyed the home and our stay. Would recommend!

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The house is furnished and decorated very nicely and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you might possibly need. We enjoyed the pool and sitting around the outdoor fire pit in the evening was lovely. We did like being within a short walk to the lake and playground. Unfortunately, there were a few things that would prevent us from wanting to stay here again. The hot tub water was very cloudy and it wasn't until our 3rd day that it was serviced. Disappointing to not be able to use it for half of our stay. The house was also not very clean. The kitchen cupboards need to be wiped out, the master bath shower floor was covered in dark soap scum which I cleaned myself. The tile floors need a deep clean as our barefeet were black from walking inside. Bath towels are very worn and need to be replaced. Just a few maintenance things to take care of and then this place would be much nicer.

Spacious house with nice pool and bar

We booked the house because it was close to our relatives who were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. The house has plenty of space and the pool was very nice and refreshing. Our biggest complaint would be that the thermostat was locked at 78° and all four bedrooms were upstairs so it was 5 to 10° warmer and miserable to try and sleep. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan and we bought extra fans to try and help cool it off. The listing on Vrbo says the temperature shouldn’t be set below 76°. My husband called the owner and left a message asking if we could pay more to have the air turned down between seven pm until eight am and he never received a response back. Our niece and nephew and their families rented a house on Dreamy Dr right around the corner and it was so nice, comfortable, and updated! We paid the same amount. We had a such a great time catching up with family and friends, a few sweaty sleepless nights didn’t stop us from having fun! (A side note, we picked up lots of beer bottle caps out of the backyard and the main bathroom tub drained super slow because it had a big wad of hair stuck in the drain )

Nice House for a Getaway

We booked this place for a guys golf trip early November 2017. Everything went smoothly upon arrival and was about an hour away from the airport. The football and hockey stadiums are about 20 minutes away and there are plenty of good golf courses within 30 minutes. There is a Safeway and Walgreens about 5 minutes away which is handy. The home was clean and well kept but certainly was lacking in some areas such as: - Only 1 roll of paper towel was left in the house. - We had to purchase our own cooking oil and common spices that in my opinion should be included for the price you pay for the rental. - The toilet paper is close to the cheapest there is. - The patio light did not work nor did a plug-in on the other side of the wall which led to believe a breaker was out but there was no access to the panel to quickly fix the problem ourselves and couldn't have been bothered to get someone in. It showed that a proper walk through when preparing the house was not done as there was also a couple light bulbs burnt out throughout the house. - There is only one frying pan which everything stuck to even with a generous amount of oil. - There was no dishwasher detergent left in the house. It sounds like a lot but it was really just little things that will hopefully be adjusted for future renters. We still enjoyed our stay and want to thank the owners for the opportunity.

House ok but there are some serious issues

My wife and I stayed at VRBO #4446631 in Goodyear, AZ for four nights from Feb 15-19, 2018. Four family members joined us at the home. The size and layout of the house accommodated the family size, providing ample room for us to be together and space for privacy as well. The community is nice and there are walking trails nearby along the lake. However, there were a number of serious concerns re: the house that would keep us from renting it again. We hope this feedback will be of value to people planning to stay at the home, and help the owners improve the rental for future guests. 1. Our total bill included an additional fee of $200 for heating the pool, or $50/night. When we reserved the house, we did not notice that this fee was included in the rental agreement and we paid it upfront. We notified the contact person listed in our check-in package two days prior to our arrival, that we would not be using the pool, and expected to have the $200 deducted from the total cost of the rental. We were surprised when the company managing the property told us that since we had already paid in advance the full price for the rental including the pool heating, that even though we had notified them prior to arrival that we did not want the pool heated and would not use it, they would not refund the money “per their policy”. Further, they contacted the owners who also declined to provide the refund. We travel extensively and rent through VRBO frequently – and although we have rented homes w/heating fees for pools in the past, we have NEVER had to pay for heating if we informed the owners prior to our stay that we would not be using the service. We own a vacation rental home, and always try and accommodate guests appropriately. 2. The upstairs guest bathroom - the tub, when used as a shower, is dangerous. The sides of the tub are sloped providing a narrow flat space to stand in, and – more importantly - the bottom of the tub is very slippery when wet. Several of our family members felt so unsafe in the tub that they would not use it and we all shared the walk-in shower off the MBR instead. 3. The bedframes in all of the bedrooms are larger than the mattress and box spring sets, presenting a fall hazard. Unfortunately, one of our family members – who got up during the night –stepped into the frame and tripped. She experienced a bad fall striking her head, arm and back, and was severely bruised the next day. Other issues but out of space.
