The house was clean and as pictured. The stairs were a bit steep and would be tough for elderly folks. The parking was great, off street and ample space. The house is close to literally everything!Host Nina was great to work with. Very responsive (quickly) and made sure we got what ever we needed.

This property has a great location- super easy to walk to the ferry to Norfolk Waterside (and Nauticus), easy to walk to the historic Portsmouth and High Street. Parking at the property was easy. There was plenty of space for our family to gather and also enjoy a little time apart. We felt comfortable and relaxed. The coffee station was thoughtful. Very responsive and pleasant host. Thank you!

The house is beautiful and tastefully decorated, and we greatly appreciate the opportunity to vacation here, but the house was not clean, the floors were filthy, leaving our socks and feet black if we went without shoes.We did clean all the floors, several times while there, because it took several cleanings before our socks and feet did not turn black, and before we checked out. The trash cans, one large and one small were overflowing when we arrived.The owners did send people out to pick up trash, although it took a couple of days. I would suggest providing more trash receptacles, especially, since there is a raccoon that frequents the house. There are a few things that need to be fixed if this host is to successfully house 18 people. There is not enough hot water, there is not enough water pressure either. The upstairs shower is very tiny, I would suggest a removable shower head as it is extremely difficult to rinse off in that small of a space. The refrigerator is tiny, RV size and not nearly enough room for food and drinks for several people. We used two large coolers in addition to the refrigerator. The dishwasher is not secured and does not get the dishes clean, we opted to hand wash the dishes The kitchen breaker blows if you use the toaster and one other outlet. The amount of beds do not accommodate 18 people either, thankfully we brought a queen size and full size mattress with us. The mattresses were not the most comfortable either, per all the guests.
