4 -5 stars. 5 stars in cooler weather The house was very clean, comfortable and full of conveniences. The puzzles, games, ping pong table, and bunk room were all a hit! The lack of bedroom hvac vents was a challenge, but we followed the instructions left by the owner and it was a big help. Bring a fan, if you sleep in cooler temps. There are a few available in the home. The owners are working on a remedy for the air but we throughly enjoyed our stay in spite of the July heat. Lots of great info and recommendations in the welcome book and the owner was very helpful and gracious when we needed to contact them.

Thank you so much for your kind review! We’re glad you enjoyed your stay and appreciate your feedback about the bedroom temperatures. Sapphire is typically mild and cool most of the year, with June and July being the warmest months. To help keep the home comfortable, we’ve added two large HVAC units, ceiling fans in every bedroom, and a whole-house fan, which is commonly used in mountain homes to bring in the cool mountain air. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back again!

Everything was perfect—the cabin, the weather, all of it. The porches are massive, and we practically lived out there. We were secretly hoping to see some bears—polar, brown, grizzly, black… honestly, at that point, any bear would’ve done—but no such luck. Maybe next time! Also, there’s a beautiful blue and white coffee mug in the cabinet. Please treat it like fine china—it’s basically part of the family now. We just discovered this beautiful area, and we will certainly be back.
