Surrounded by natural springs and lush willows and pines, this secluded retreat offers the perfect combination of privacy and convenience. Enjoy the serene beauty of the land while being just a short drive from the bustling town of Jackson and the world-renowned activities of the Jackson Hole area.

This local treasure, admired for it’s location and captivating animal sanctuary that surrounds it, went under a whole-house renovation that was completed in November 2024. Carefully curated colors, textures and finishes blend modern design elements with rustic mountain inspired features to give cozy cabin vibes-perfect for relaxing after a day of outdoor adventures. The living area is thoughtfully designed for comfort and boasts a large stone fireplace and expansive windows to take in the views of the Teton and Gros Ventre mountain ranges. The well equipped chef’s kitchen is outfitted with Sub-Zero, Wolf and several small appliances to accommodate all levels of meal prep. With 4 bedrooms, there is ample space for families or groups of friends. Timeless design and subtle luxury come together in each bedroom to beckon a restful nights sleep. The master suite offers a peaceful retreat with stunning mountain views and a gas fireplace. The en-suite bathroom gives spa feels with luxe finishes and heated flooring.

Abundant wildlife makes this property a nature lover’s paradise-where moose, elk, deer, fox and Canadian geese can be observed.

While our home offers the privacy and seclusion you crave it is also conveniently close to all the best Jackson Hole has to offer. The home is beautiful and the setting is breathtaking. Wilson is a great base from which to enjoy all Jackson has to offer. Our family had an amazing time and can’t wait to go back.

Owner decided they wanted to accuse us of leaving feces in the bathroom so they could keep our deposit.

I have never withheld any portion of a guest's security deposit, but I have also never encountered a situation where human feces was left smeared on both the floor and the inside of the pocket door in our powder bathroom. Your family was the first rental guests of 2026. My husband and I were the last occupants of the home prior to your stay, and we left in March. The property was professionally cleaned upon our departure and again the day before your arrival. In addition, our property caretaker conducts regular inspections of the home, both inside and out, when guests are not present. Given these circumstances, it is not possible that the feces was present before your stay. You and your guests occupied the home for an entire week, and neither the condition nor odor associated with fresh, soft feces was reported. We also understand that visitors were present at the property during your rental period. Proper remediation of human waste requires additional labor, personal protective equipment, sanitizing products, travel time, and specialized cleaning procedures. As a result, we incurred costs beyond a standard turnover cleaning. The incident was thoroughly documented with photographs and reported to VRBO. Based on the additional expenses incurred, we did not return your deposit.

Gretchen was an incredible host. The communication started before arrival. The host provided wonderful recommendations for shopping, dining and entertainment options. The host also checked in occasionally during our stay just to make sure everything was going well. The house was well equipped and super comfortable for our family that included our toddler grandson. The house has a great location only minutes from Jackson and Grand Teton national park . Also several dining and shopping locations within walking distance from the house. Cannot recommend Gretchen and this house enough. Would definitely stay again on a future trip. The house was comfortable and well stocked. Everything we needed was there.

Picture Perfect Stay

The home is beautiful, comfortable and located in a perfect spot. It’s located away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to main roads and the park. Check-in/out were easy. The host was readily available to answer questions and give great suggestions for activities and restaurants. We saw so much wildlife around the area and even in the backyard. . . Moose, elk, deer, ducks and ducklings, bald eagles. It is a great place to unplug and relax!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this home in Wilson, WY! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the cleanliness, comfort, and stunning views. The home is beautifully furnished, well-equipped, and full of thoughtful touches that made our stay feel special and relaxing.The location couldn’t be better—just minutes from Jackson Hole, yet peaceful and private. We enjoyed morning coffee on the deck while watching wildlife, and after long days of hiking and exploring Grand Teton National Park, it was a dream to come back to such a cozy, quiet retreat.The hosts were responsive, kind, and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. We especially appreciated the local tips they provided—it made our trip feel authentic and memorable.We’re already planning our return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-notch stay in Wyoming. Five stars all around!

Moose Springs Lodge is located in Jackson's coveted "West Bank" area in the heart of quaint Wilson, Wy. The town of Wilson is less than .5 miles and walkable late spring through early fall. It is uniquely situated on a peninsula surrounded by fresh springs and 5 acres that are abundant in local wildlife, willows and pines. The location makes it the perfect basecamp for whatever direction your adventures take you.
