Make yourself at home in this charming 3-bedroom Grand Junction home. Named after a special race horse, "Blushing Katie" Estate, has a fun western appeal. Enjoy visiting goats and chickens while taking in beautiful scenery of the Colorado National Monument. The home features 2 bedrooms with queen beds. The upstairs living room with a sofa bed serves as an additional room and perfect for a comfortable stay for a family or group. Enjoy the convenience of WiFi, a washing machine/dryer, 2 car garage, and hot tub. With 2 bathrooms, shower, and jetted bathtub, your relaxation is guaranteed. Within minutes you can enjoy all Grand Junction has to offer including incredible hiking, biking and running trails; sensational down town where you can shop and eat great food; sporting events and entertainment venues as well as Colorado Mesa University. skiing at Grand Mesa, Powder-horn is only 45 min. Katie enjoys trail running and hiking with our Labrador retrievers, spending time with friends and family and watching sports events. Katie loves sharing this special family home to honor her grandparents and parents and their love for horses and country life.
この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由
Katie's grandparents move to GJ in 1958 and built the home next door at 449 W. Scenic. The family added Blushing Katie in 1989. Katie enjoys the beautiful views of Colorado National Monument and the multitude of trails less than 5 min from the house. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly
この宿泊施設の特徴
The property originally was a peach orchard that was transformed into training ground for race horses. Today goats and chickens occupy the pasture in the back of the house. We hope to soon plant peach trees once again. Its a fun quiet place to enjoy a little country life with modern amenities.
