Excellent time unplugging

We loved our time at the cabin. Saw plenty of wildlife, caught fish and cooked them, amazing star gazing and very relaxing. It was so good to not have cell phones and tvs to distract us. I would definitely recommend.

Family Time - escaping the heat from Louisiana

The property was immaculate. Our cabin, the Willows, was located very close to the stocked fishing ponds where the kids enjoyed catching fish everyday. We understand that the cabin is located in a rural area and expected it to be rustic, we did not expect it to be so clean. There was no evidence of spiders or dust/dirt anywhere. Even the fireplace hearth was clean. The Davis' family worked hard to make us feel at home and we did. I have and will continue to recommend these cabins for a getaway from the race of life and get the kids off their screens. The kitchen was fully equipped with pots, pans, and all the necessities, down to a coffee percolator (you may want to google how to use one before you go - it's not that hard to use and it makes the best flavor!). We found a nice laundromat in Lake City to do a quick wash while we explored the cute old city and picked up some fabulous ice cream at the Lake City Soda Company across from the park along with some beautiful locally made pottery. Our kids enjoy the outdoors, ages 15, 13, 9, (girl, boy, girl) and love Oleo Ranch. This was our 2nd time to stay at Oleo - our 15 year old girl has begged for 5 years to go back and is already asking when we will return. Thanks yall for a great family vacation! Catherine, James, Leslie, John Ashton, Lauren (oh and our "Lucky" Dog loved chasing the groundhogs!!!)

Great Camp

Propane powered cabin (Willow). Clean, spacious, all the essentials were on hand. No electric, which is a bonus. Highly recommend if you want a quiet, high country getaway. Moose and deer seen daily. Great fishing.

Great Escape

We loved this private, off the road cabin. Very clean, great access to private fishing, and just beautiful scenery! Very nice managers who took good care of us. Would definitely go back!

Excellent escape.

Clean, simple, beautiful scenery and quiet. Wildlife, fishing, night sky are as advertised. Staff on the ranch was helpful and the cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing week. Will definitely return.

Beautiful and peaceful

The cabin was clean, neat and very comfortable. We had everything we needed to cook amazing meals in the kitchen. The resident moose family was a welcomed sight each morning and afternoon and the hummingbirds were entertaining all day! Couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. Will definitely be back next year!
