This was a great place to stay! Location: nice, safe neighborhood, with people out and about. Very convenient to airport, downtown, and Balboa Park. The North Park area is also very nice. You can walk to restaurants if you like. Exterior: there is a nice private walkway from the street to get to the front door (see picture). There are townhomes on both sides. There is a separate driveway to get to the garage on the other side. We had a rental car, so the private garage was a nice perk for safety and convenience. Interior: the host has done an excellent job of decorating. Beds are firm and very comfortable. Showers have great water pressure and felt very good. Kitchen is well-equipped. Even though there are townhomes on both sides of this unit, we never heard neighbors, and road noise is minimal, so we had very peaceful evenings. Host communication: The host (Ben) was very proactive and provided many recommendations for making our trip to San Diego enjoyable. Summary: If we come back to San Diego, we'll definitely try staying here again.

The area is full of independent restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques, giving it a unique, local feel that you won’t find anywhere else. Plus, with Balboa Park just a stone’s throw away, you’re never far from beautiful trails, museums, and the iconic San Diego Zoo. It’s a place that feels both energetic and welcoming, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
