Staying in this castle was a unique experience that we will forever treasure! We all had a blast and truly enjoyed the escape room and how it drew us all closer to Jesus! If you are looking for a unique experience that includes a fun escape room that brings our true king in it, stay here!

10/10 would recommend anyone to stay at this amazing castle! We had some VRBO bucks saved and decided to book the castle on a whim for our kids Spring Break. I would say the only complaint I have is that we should have booked another night. Our family will definitely be back some day!

It was everything it was described as - the scavenger hunt was a huge highlight! The only downside was the abundance of lady bugs, but our 7 year old was thrilled of the luck that brought. We had a great time.

This was such an amazing castle! The detail and great aesthetic was exactly how it was described! The beds and pillows were comfortable and the hot tub felt great after a long drive! I have older teens and they LOVED the secret bookshelf! This really was such a magical stay! Would definitely recommend!

It was spotless! Beautiful and so unique! The hot tub was a perfect temp. Everything we needed was available. We did have trouble getting in the front door. It stuck and required a hard push to open after the code was entered and it said unlocked. We had trouble with the internet and getting the tv to work because of it but the host was kind and patient with our complaints and within an hour or so everything was working fine. Highly recommend this if anyone wants a very different type of b&b experience! Loved it.. as did all of our family members! Our small grandchildren found all of it( especially the koi pond and treasure hunt ) fascinating! Great experience!

This was the perfect mini vacation. The Castle was amazing! We had everything we needed plus more. We all enjoyed the treasure hunt. We didn’t turn the tv on once. Just enjoyed family time together making memories in a unique fun filled setting.

The stay was excellent. The property was very unique. Lots to do. The treasure hunt was a lot of fun but needs to be updated a bit as some of the items have changed (no spoilers but location of necessary tools). Despite that, it was extremely entertaining and well done! Lovely grounds to explore. Games. Full kitchen with most everything you need to prepare meals. Driveway in is a bit steep so he prepared to switch to a lower gear. Did not try the hot tub. Some exterior lights were not working. Beds were a bit firm but comfortable. TV in all bedrooms. Tower room is for early risers as a lot of light comes in the windows in the morning. Downstairs bedroom stays dark later in the morning. Loved being able to explore the castle. Great views. Wood stocked fire pit and koi pond with seating. Plenty of parking. Highly recommend for a unique adventure.

When we got there it wasnt cleaned up after the people before us, there was stuff left behind, and throw up covered towels. We had to clean after the people before. It took a while for the owner to get in touch but he was very nice and sent the cleaner the next day. Rooms had water come in after rain. Other than that it was a nice stay. We didnt get to experience the treasure hunt due to the people doing it before us.

Wonderful experience

This property was very fun. They have put so much work into the castle experience! The scavenger hunt was a huge hit with the kids. I wish that the hot tub wasn't locked, as it was listed with a hot tub as an amenity, and that was something I was looking forward to a lot.I tried to contact the host, with no luck.

Our stay at the Castle was a really fun and unique experience! I would highly recommend it! The details throughout the castle were excellent and we enjoyed exploring all the different nooks and features. The treasure quest was an added bonus and as 4 grown adults we had so much fun in completing our quest. I am not posting any pictures because I think it would be a better experience for you to get your own "first looks" at it while staying there yourself! This is an amazing, but NEW place and there were a couple of issues that needed to be addressed, and the owners responded very quickly! Go spend some time at the Castle of Kingston - you will not be disappointed!

The initial awe factor is present, as it is very unique. However, the owner was present when we arrived an hour after the check-in time and was doing outside construction on a koi pond, which is odd. Additionally, we had done a walkthrough and noticed a keypad locked door that was closed at first walkthrough was open later. The smoke detectors had been removed. There were spiders and layers of dust everywhere. The beds were uncomfortable and it just left us with a general sense of unease. We were also unaware of the Alexa device inside the home, which we feel should have been disclosed. To summarize:1) Initially cool2) Lack of privacy with owner being present for awhile after check-in3) Still semi-under construction4) Pests not under control and a bit unclean and dusty5) Safety concerns with smoke detectors removed6) Creep factor with a locked door that was initially closed being found open laterWe cut our stay short, as there were too many privacy, safety and health concerns.

We had an absolutely amazing stay. Everything was truly perfect from start to finish. The property looks exactly like the photos—if anything, even better in person. Every detail was thoughtfully done, and it made our stay feel extra special. Our group of four adults had so much fun with the treasure hunt—it was such a unique and memorable touch that really set this place apart. We also loved the little extras, like the fish food for the koi, which added a relaxing and interactive element to the experience. The outdoor seating area was beautiful and cozy, especially with the fire pit ready to go—wood and lighters already provided made it completely hassle-free. And the free snack basket was such a thoughtful bonus that didn’t go unnoticed! You can tell a lot of care goes into making guests feel welcome here. We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, unique, and relaxing getaway!
