Property was as described - spacious and comfortable for our group of women celebrating our 70th birthdays. Communication with Frankie was amazing - he responded quickly when we had a question. Beds are comfortable. Pool was clean and deck was nice and roomy for us to gather. There is a large back yard to the river with playground equipment for children. If we come back to this area we would definitely rent this house again. Frankie is the perfect host!

Very quick and attentive communication with owner. Clean property. Property is secluded which is a plus. River was high due to all the rain, so we weren't able to use the fishing dock but we had boats so it all worked out. I wish other owners were as attentive as Frankie

Absolutely happy with the property and host. The house was beautiful. I would have liked to have known that the 5 th bedroom was separate from the house. And a few minor issues that I can discuss with the owner. We really had a great stay!!!!!!

This one-of-a-kind property sits directly on the Atchafalaya River. This river is a significant waterway in Louisiana, and runs right through the Atchafalaya Basin, which is the largest river swamp in the United States. The Atchafalaya Basin covers nearly 1 million acres across south-central Louisiana. 5 short miles from the property's location, you will find the famous Henderson Swamp which is a specific section of the Atchafalaya Basin! Henderson Swamp is famous for its dense cypress trees, wildlife tours, and fishing spots. Guests can take this 5 mile drive & fish right off the banks, launch a boat or kayak for a day of exploring the swamp, or simply relax and take in the sights of egrets, herons, and maybe even a lazy gator or two passing by. Additionally, there are several reputable Airboat tour operators offer guided excursions that provide close-up views of alligators in their natural habitat. And don't forget the local Cajun Cuisine Restaurants available for all property guest!
