The stay was enjoyable, the condo was clean. The only issue was the first night, it was extremely hot in the building, as well as in our condo. There was an AC, but it was more like a hotel AC unit and only cooled the living room. Being from TX, one of the prerequesites was it must have AC. Other than that, it was a good stay and we enjoyed it. Thanks again, Lorna! We appreciate you so much!

Very comfortable

This was a nice condo that was clean and very comfortable. The building was very secure and we enjoyed being within walking distance to several eateries and shopping.

Property has everything you need

Great condo in Avon. Underground parking super clutch. Fast wifi. Stocked kitchen with all sorts of pans, containers, and loads of what you need. Comfy beds and linnens. Would recommend and stay here again.

Great stay in Avon

Our family of five enjoyed this condo. It was well maintained and well stocked for a ski weekend. The location is great to be in Avon and be able to walk to dinner and groceries. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect ski weekend!

This was the perfect place to stay for a weekend skiing with my family - the beds were comfortable, there was plenty of space in the condo, and everything was location in convenient proximity to the slopes and/ or to bus stops to get there!

Family ski vacation

The condo is in a wonderful location. Maybe a little far to walk with skis to the gondola but there is a shuttle you can catch or you can drive to one of the public lots. It is an older unit but clean and very well appointed. Our door code didn't work initially but Lorna took care of it right away. No complaints and will go back again!

Second year in a row

This was the 2nd year in a row that we have stayed here. The size of the condo is great, and the location has many things going for it: close to local food options, close to grocery store, close to ski rental store (Christy Sports), and maybe best of all, it is the 3rd stop on the Skier Bus Route, so you get on before the stops which have MANY people board at once.The garage parking is also a great amenity!

BEST condo ever!

Lorna is the BEST!! Always tryjng to help! Condo is in an unbeatable location!!! Clean! Confortable! No stairs, kitched amazingly equiped! Shops al around! BEST place for a Ski trip! We will come back next year definetly!!! Thanks so much Lorna we had an Amazing time!!

Convenient Condo in Avon

This condo is located in the center of downtown Avon and three exits (9 miles) from downtown Vail. It is extremely secure with keyboards to enter the parking lot, Building front door, elevator and entrance to the condo. It has an air conditioner which many places in the mountains do not have.

Great condo

We loved this property. The underground parking is a plus (assuming you registered your car online properly. If you follow owners instructions especially length of time to show you will be fine. If not you could be billed, but parking company will remove it with proof of stay). Being seniors, the garage parking was a major plus in renting as no steps/stairs. The owner was very responsive in our inquiries. Everything was lovely. The month of July, we hardly used the air conditioner in unit as we liked fresh air and opened balcony door and windows. At night with only window open the fan going was very comfortable as well. The coffee table lifts up and becomes your dining table. It worked great since no “dining room table”. The place is just as pictured. We would not hesitate to go back.

Lovely apartment, conveniently located

Warm, homey apartment. A cook’s kitchen, completely kitted out with all the equipment and utensils you could possibly want, including a five-burner gas stove. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance, from cheap-and-cheerful to white-tablecloth. Perfect for skiers or snow boarders with easy access to Beaver Creek and Vail. A 10-minute walk to the gondola or a 100-meter walk to the ski shuttle bus. Good value-for-money toward the end of the ski season when I was there. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location

This was a perfect condo for our family, we have two tall teens, so it was great that they had their own beds. I like the lockers that they had, the access from garage to condo was great. Location was good. The description said, new building, however, the building, and unit seem to be older, that was the only thing that I noticed..

Lorna is a Colorado native and Tom from Buffalo, New York. We currently reside in Denver and love to and lover to go to the mountains to enjoy the wonderful outdoor activities. We have rental condos in Avon/Beaver Creek (#44689) and Winter Park / Tabernash / Granby (#1061107).

We purchased a condo in Avon because Lorna has been a regular at Colorado resorts since the early 80's and always loved the Vail Valley. We have great memories of skiing and hiking in the area; however, our most memorable is becoming engaged following a sleigh ride to the secluded restaurant, 'Beanos Cabin', located on Beaver Creek Mountain.

Vail Valley has ulimited outdoor activities, world-class cuisine, amazing shopping, fabulous day spas and offers a menu of cultural events throughout the year.

Vail and Beaver Creek have been consistently ranked top ski resorts in the world. While the winter is known for its great skiing, snowmobiling, Adventure Ridge and outdoor activities - the summers are filled with mountain biking, hiking, boating, and fishing along with multiple festivals.

Chapel Square is located in the heart of Avon and at the base of Beaver Creek Mountain. It is a two block walk from the gondola and is located on the free shuttle route (with two other stops just across the parking lot).

Unlike many other buildings, Chapel Square has residential floors on the top of the building and features the following restaurants on the lower level: steakhouse (Outback), mexican, sushi, soup/sandwhich/salad, and chinese. There are also salon services, grocery, toystore and other stores on the first floor of the building. Residential floors are secured by a code required in the elevator. There is also a great Pizza Restaurant and Irish Pub within a block of the condo. For those renting equipment - Christy Sports, Gart Sports and Vista Sports are all within a block of the condo as well.

The condo has a heated parking garage and ski/bike storage along with a hot tub, sauna and fitness room available for use by the guests. Furthermore, it is within walking distance of the Avon Recreational Center which offers state of the art exercise equipment and indoor pools. We offer a gas grill on the patio of the condo which has a great view of Beaver Creek Mountain.
