Wonderful Winter Getaway

Our family had a wonderful time in this cozy and adorable home. The home was very clean, spacious, and well stocked. We enjoyed the fireplace, watching Christmas movies, and spending time together in this home. The home is located close to the ski resorts and town. We look forward to returning again.

Clean, equipped and perfect for our little family.

Cabin came equipped with everything we needed - kitchen cookware, towels, dish soap. I would recommend bringing snow play toys and salt and pepper! We had a blast playing in the snow in the yard. Property was fenced in and great for dogs. There was a hill behind the property which entertained us for hours. Not far from restaurants or the lake. Thank you!!

Great home. Perfect for a single family with a canine companion

Had a great 3 night stay at the home. Kitchen was well stocked which is great since we don’t like to eat out every meal while we’re on vacation. Large fenced in yard which was perfect for our golden retriever. Our only complaint was that the front gate to the driveway was frozen shut when we arrived. I texted/called the property contact numerous times when we arrived to tell him we couldn’t open the gate. He didn’t text me back for 1.5 hours stating his phone “was on the blink”. Family was getting cold outside, so I hopped the fence to get the front door open. I then carried my 3 kids, 80lb dog, all our baggage and cooler over the fence into the home so we could be warmer. I then spent the next 30 minutes trying to hammer the ice off the fence to open it. I was almost ready to attach my winch to the fence to open it but didn’t want to damage the fence or property. After 30 minutes, I gave up and went back inside. An hour and a half after my arrival, I finally got a text from the property manager saying he’ll send someone over. When help arrived, I assisted her by hammering/chiseling ice and we used a crow bar to lift and pry the fence open. Outside of that arrival fiasco, the cabin was nice and cozy. I would suggest the property managers make sure the home is accessible before guests arrive in the future

Perfect location and cabin

The cabin was perfect- close enough to the main road to head into town, but far back enough to not have any road noise. The cabin was very clean, functional, stocked and had a great fenced yard for pets, with outdoor event options. All three rooms had smart TVs and comfy mattresses. We truly enjoyed our stay. Parker, the owner was also great with the info he provided prior to and upon arrival.

1000% recommended

There isn’t enough words to type to explain how much we’d recommend This property. Its located in a very peaceful neighborhood. It’s fully fenced yard complete with outdoor games and a fire pit made vacation with the kids so much more fun. I could let them run around and see them from the living area, The cabin was cozy and super relaxing. It definitely felt like home away from home, if I had any questions the owner was super helpful and responded very fast if not right away, from check in till check out he helped accommodate our needs and was very personable. Another plus is that the cabin is located near some stores and restaurants and about 8 mins to the lake so picking up and going was super convenient and easy on the kids. I wish I could stay forever honestly, The kids were so sad to leave and normally they can’t wait to get home to play video games but for once they got to make memories playing outside and spending quality time with us. We will absolutely be coming back ASAP.

Convenient Location, clean and accommodating

Upon arrival, the property has a gate and fenced yard. Easy access to the house and nicely put together. The kitchen has everything you need and quick access to the side yard through a slider. Outside has games, picnic table, fire pit, bbq, smoker and a hammock (2) if you dare ! Great seating area and fairly private. The bedrooms are a really nice size and spacious. Full bathroom upstairs and 1/2 downstairs. The TVs upstairs don’t work (no cable) but other than that, it’s a great property and I’d definitely stay again !

Great stay very close to Great Skiing

This was a fantastic stay. As soon as we booked the property and got confirmed, we received detailed instructions, including the address, lockbox info, rules/regs, and check-in instructions. It was easy to find and access and the place was a gem. The location was superb right in Big Bear City and the place was comfy and spacious. We had a nice tall table to play cards one night and even a room with twin beds for more friends (even though we didn't use it). This is a great stay for large families or groups of friends.

Clean and nice cabin

This was our first trip to Big Bear with 3 people and two dogs, We had a 2 night stay and the cabin was very clean and a cozy place to stay, The yard was fenced for our pups to have space to run and explore, The cabin was clean and very cozy for us to relax, the yard had a lot of lights which made it really nice in the evening to sit outside and enjoy the yard. This is a great place to stay for a family with pets or if you just enjoy a larger cabin, This place is out of town but very close to get into the town or to the lake. We truly enjoyed the cabin and would love to return in the future.

Big bear stay

We had a great time at this cabin. It is perfect if you have pets. My Lab loved the big fenced in yard. The cabin is a cool, quirky cabin. Had everything that we needed and the host was quick to respond with any questions. Would definitely recommend if you are traveling with a dog.

Great Family Getaway

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The location is on the "back entrance" to Big Bear which made the drive very easy into Big Bear from HWY 18. The exterior of the property is gated which made it nice to keep small kids and our dog from wandering off. The inside of the cabin is well maintained and very clean. There is plenty of room inside and amenities such as WiFi, TV and Direct TV made for plenty of entertainment. The kitchen contained plenty of plates, glasses and utensils, along with a coffee maker and other pots and pans. The bedrooms were well organized with plenty of warm clean linens. It truly felt like a "home away from home" with clear instructions for clean up and locking up when we left. The only unfortunate thing about the whole trip was that we couldn't stay longer due to an impending storm. The property management company informed us of the bad weather and the Owner was gracious enough to refund us one nights stay since we had to leave early. Overall though we truly enjoyed the cabin and would love to return in the future. Definitely recommended.

Loved it!

We loved this cabin. It was a perfect size for our group of 5. Our dog loved the fenced in yard. We couldn’t keep him away from it! It was so nice having the yard fenced in all the way around. Everything was decorated for fall and Halloween and it was very festive. BBQ was great and we loved the hammock. We would definitely recommend this place and come back again!

Comfortable, relaxing, and feels like home!

This cabin is what you'd expect when you are in the mountains. It's not extravagant, but has everything you need. It's clean and comfortable. It has a lovely fireplace and a huge yard. The bedrooms are good sized. We would definitely stay here again! Like most vacation rentals, if there are specific kitchen tools you need, bring them! That would be my only suggestion for this property is that they add a few basic things like sharp knives, measuring cups/spoons, cookie sheet, and a roasting pan.

Clean, quiet and cozy

My number 1 concern was cleanliness and this place met my expectations. Each room was dusted, clean floors and ceilings. No bad odors, beds were comfy, LOVE that there was hardwood floors throughout and no carpets (ew). Clean linens and towels, great washing machine and dryer. Overall great experience.

Everything was wonderful. We had all of the necessary items supplied by the owners for a quick weekend getaway (e.g., shampoo). The master bedroom was large enough for our two pups and a travel crib for our 17 month old. Big back yard was nice for the dogs and for snow play. Thanks for helping us set up our ski vacation.

Great place for a snow get away!

This cabin worked out great for our family of 5. The hill behind the property was perfect for sledding and the heater and fireplace were awesome. It is really easy to get to (close to the main road) but still very quiet and the street right in front isn't busy. There were some minor maintenance issues but the owner was very responsive and resolved them all.

Comfortable and great price

I stayed here for a weekend with 3 friends and the place is great. The heater worked great it was very warm inside (it was snowing when we went). Everything was very clean. They provide some toiletries like toothbrushes, shampoo and even soap for the washing machine and dishwasher. The WiFi is great and the living room television supports screen mirroring so I was able to connect my phone which was cool. Their decor could be updated but it's not a big deal because the place is very comfortable, functional and offers all the amenities that are needed for a weekend. It is also located very close to Big Bear Mountain Resort and the lake. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone else looking to spend a weekend in big bear.
