Wow! Wow! Wow!
My three sisters and I have been vacationing together each year in the Sanibel area since 2000 and this place was by far the best we’ve ever had the pleasure of renting! We thoroughly enjoyed our ventures out to nearby Sanibel, Captiva, Ft. Myers Beach and Lover’s Key but could have easily stayed put at the house, taking in the great views and wonderful indoor and outdoor living spaces. We saw dolphins up and down the canal and bay. One seemed to be teaching two babies how to fish and came right to where we stood on the dock and swam directly underneath us and then around the boat lift area. Other wildlife including ospreys and possibly an eagle visited often and we watched a pair of birds come and go each day tending to their nest tucked into an area of the neighbor’s dock. Spectacular sunrises greeted us each morning, reflecting both on the canal and the swimming pool waters. I spent most of my time when at the house, sitting on the cozy couches, on the dock or in the pool taking it all in. The home’s interior is gorgeous, with a kitchen that is superbly organized and adequately equipped with cookware, utensils, dishes and all needed to prepare and serve meals. Its spacious common area provided ample space for board games, watching tv or just sitting and gazing out at the beautiful outdoor area and lovely water views. The exterior upper deck was a great area for sunning and star gazing. Everything about the place exuded peacefulness and we hope to return next year!
